Simarine
Precision Simarine PICO battery, tank, and temperature monitors for marine, caravan, and off-grid power systems.
Precision Simarine PICO Battery & Tank Monitoring Systems
When travelling off-grid in your caravan, RV, or boat, knowing the exact status of your electrical system is vital. The Simarine PICO series delivers an advanced, highly accurate monitoring solution for modern 12V and 24V setups. Combining a sleek, visually appealing display with robust data tracking, Simarine allows you to monitor everything from deep cycle battery capacity to multi-tank fluid levels all from a single screen or your smartphone.
Complete Visibility Over Batteries, Tanks, and Temperatures
Simarine’s modular design means your system can grow with your needs. Whether you are managing a straightforward 4WD canopy build or a complex marine power network, Simarine provides real-time insights into your power consumption and generation. By integrating dedicated battery monitors and shunts, you can track precisely how much power your solar panels are producing or how much energy your 12V fridge is consuming.
- High-Precision Shunts: Measure current, voltage, and temperature with exceptional accuracy using the 300A or 500A main battery shunts.
- Individual Circuit Tracking: Utilise the Simarine Quad Shunt module to monitor up to four specific 25A or 50A circuits independently.
- Fluid Management: Connect compatible tank level monitors to read fresh water, grey water, and fuel levels without guesswork.
- Environmental Data: Add temperature monitors to safeguard your battery banks or keep an eye on fridge internal temperatures.
- Pitch & Roll Data: The digital inclinometer ensures your camper or boat is perfectly level for comfortable sleeping and proper appliance function.
How to Choose Your Simarine System
Selecting the right Simarine components depends on your specific vehicle size, power load, and the number of inputs you wish to track. Use these criteria to design your ideal setup:
Step 1: Select a Display Unit. The PICO display is the heart of the system. Choose between a panel mount for flush installations or a stand-alone surface mount depending on your dashboard or cabinetry layout. Both styles are available in silver or black finishes to match your interior.
Step 2: Size Your Main Shunt. Calculate your maximum continuous current draw. For standard 12V caravan and boat systems, a 300A shunt offers plenty of headroom. If you run a high-capacity power inverter for induction cooking or air-conditioning, upgrading to the heavy-duty 500A shunt is highly recommended.
Step 3: Add Expansion Modules. If you want to know exactly how much power your solar system contributes versus your alternator, add a Quad Shunt. If fluid tracking is essential, select the dedicated tank module, which integrates multiple voltage and resistance tank sensors seamlessly.
Step 4: Network Integration. For marine applications, the NMEA2000 Gateway allows the Simarine PICO to broadcast battery and tank data directly to your boat's primary multi-function display.
Seamless Smart Connectivity
The PICO system features a built-in Wi-Fi module, allowing you to connect your smartphone directly to the display. The free Simarine app lets you view live data, adjust settings, and update firmware effortlessly, giving you total command over your off-grid power anywhere in or around your vehicle.
