N-type TOPCon bifacial solar panels
Compare Risen bifacial panels for fixed off-grid arrays where efficiency, hot-weather output and long-term reliability matter.
High-output Risen N-Type TOPCon bifacial panels for off-grid, tiny home and commercial solar arrays.
Quick daily-charge check
Enter the installed panel power and battery voltage, then choose the nearest capital city and summer or winter conditions.
Melbourne summer uses 6.4 peak-sun hours and an 80% system allowance: about 2 kWh/day into a 12V bank.
Estimate only: panel watts × seasonal peak-sun hours × 80% system allowance ÷ nominal battery volts. Capital-city assumptions use Bureau of Meteorology mean daily solar exposure for summer (Dec–Feb) and winter (Jun–Aug). Shade, temperature, orientation, weather, wiring and controller limits can reduce charging.
Customer stories
Absolutely stellar service from Cameron at Solar 4 RVs. Initially had him quote up a solar system for my campervan back in June 2024 and then when I was ready to purchase in November 2024 he was able to give me the best prices for every product and so I went ahead with the order.
Also gave me some tips to commission the system once I installed the products. Stoked on the Victron gear. Thanks guys!
Purchased a 12v/15a battery charger in 2023. Had issues with it today (2025). Called their info number and explained. Instantly agreed to accept it as a warranty issue and dispatched a replacement without any problems. Extremely quick service and item dispatched express courier that same day. Outstanding customer service. Thank you.
Purchased a literal boat load of electronics from them for our vessel. It all works great and they did an amazing job setting up the panel. We have had the gear a few years now and still reach out when we need help. Great customer service!

Risen solar panels suit installers and system owners who want strong wattage from a single rigid module. This range features the Risen 475W N-Type TOPCon Bifacial Black Fixed Solar Panel, a full-size glass panel built for permanent roof or ground-mounted arrays. Typical uses include off-grid homes, sheds, tiny homes and commercial sites.
Fewer, larger panels can simplify racking and wiring on bigger installations. That makes this Risen PV panel a practical option where space allows a full-size frame.
N-Type TOPCon cells are a newer cell design than conventional P-Type cells. They are commonly chosen where you want more output from limited mounting area. If you are weighing up cell types, our guide to N-Type vs P-Type solar panels explains the practical differences for off-grid installs.
The main features of the Risen 475W panel are:
The Risen 475W module is best suited to installations with room for a full-size panel:
Large motorhomes, buses or trucks with enough flat roof area may also suit, depending on roof space and mounting structure. For portable camping or compact caravan roofs, a smaller panel is usually a better fit.
Check these points before adding a Risen solar panel to your system:
Charge controller and inverter limits: Full-size panels like this generally run at higher voltages than small 12V-style modules. Confirm the panel's Voc and Isc on the product datasheet. Then check that your MPPT charge controller or solar inverter can accept your planned series and parallel configuration. Allow for cold-weather voltage rise.
Mounting: Use racking rated for the panel's dimensions and weight, fixed at the frame's designated mounting points. To get the most from the bifacial design, raise ground mounts and leave space behind the panel so reflected light can reach the rear face.
Cabling and protection: Size solar cable and fusing to the array's current. Make sure connectors match the panel's leads.
Planning a new off-grid build or expanding an existing array? The Risen 475W N-Type TOPCon bifacial panel delivers high output per module with a clean black finish. Review the specifications on the product page, confirm compatibility with your controller or inverter, and order your Risen panels today.
