Simarine Monitors
Advanced Simarine PICO battery displays, shunts, and tank modules for precise caravan and marine power monitoring.
Advanced Simarine PICO Monitoring for Caravans & Boats
Take total control of your off-grid energy with the Simarine PICO system. Designed for marine vessels, caravans, RVs, and 4WD canopies, Simarine offers a modular and highly intuitive approach to power management. Whether you need to track your main house battery bank, monitor multiple fresh and grey water tanks, or check ambient fridge temperatures, these sleek systems provide real-time data at a glance.
The Simarine PICO Ecosystem
Unlike basic voltage meters, the Simarine architecture is fully modular. You can start with a standalone display and a single shunt, then expand as your system grows by adding Quad Shunts or dedicated tank modules to create one of the most comprehensive battery monitoring systems available.
- Mobile Connectivity: Built-in Wi-Fi allows direct connection to your smartphone via the Simarine app for real-time monitoring, historical data, and easy configuration.
- Exceptional Modularity: Monitor up to 6 battery banks, 14 tanks, and 20 consumer or generator shunts on a single network.
- Precision Shunts: From active 300A and 500A main battery shunts to SCQ25 Quad Shunts for measuring individual appliances like fridges or solar inputs.
- Marine Integration: Seamlessly share battery and tank data with modern marine multi-function displays using the dedicated NMEA2000 gateway.
Displays, Shunts & Modules
The heart of the setup is the PICO Display, available in elegant black or silver finishes with either panel-mount or surface-mount options. These displays feature an optically bonded, high-contrast screen that is easy to read in direct sunlight. Paired with a main battery shunt, you gain access to vital metrics including state of charge, voltage, current draw, and estimated time remaining.
For advanced users wanting granular data, Simarine Quad Shunts allow you to track the exact draw of specific circuits, such as your inverter or lighting. Meanwhile, the versatile tank modules integrate seamlessly with existing resistive or voltage-based fluid sensors, making them an ideal upgrade for tank level monitors in complex RV and boat builds.
Beyond power and fluids, the Simarine ecosystem supports environmental and leveling data. By integrating a dedicated digital inclinometer, caravan and 4WD owners can ensure their rig is perfectly leveled for sleeping comfort and optimal fridge operation. Additionally, 1m and 5m temperature sensors can be wired to monitor ambient cabin temperatures, engine bays, or battery compartments, ensuring your electrical system operates within safe thermal limits.
Compatibility & Installation Notes
When planning your Simarine PICO installation, ensure your main battery shunt (such as the 300A or 500A models) is sized correctly for the maximum continuous current of your system, particularly if running large 2000W+ inverters. Simarine modules communicate via a proprietary data cable daisy-chain system; always measure your cable runs to determine if you need the 8m data extension cable or a power cable splitter assembly. The tank modules are highly adaptable and compatible with most standard resistive fluid sensors (such as 240-33 Ohm or 10-180 Ohm) and voltage sensors, though they require initial calibration through the PICO display or mobile app.
