Blue Sea Single 10-32 5/8 Stud Mini PowerPost Connector
Blue Sea Single 10-32 5/8 Stud Mini PowerPost Connector
48V DC Max - Insulated 10-32 (Approx M5) Stud - Marine Grade - Red

DESCRIPTION
Reliable High-Amperage Cable Termination for Custom Wiring Projects
Managing multiple cable connections on a single battery terminal often leads to clutter, poor contact, and potential safety hazards. The Blue Sea Systems Mini PowerPost provides a professional solution for consolidating these connections, allowing you to move multiple heavy-duty conductors off your battery and onto a dedicated, secure terminal stud.
Designed for the demanding environments of marine vessels, caravans, and 4WD setups, this insulated connector serves as a robust junction point. It is essential for extending power feeds, adding accessories, or simply organising your 12V, 24V, or 48V DC electrical system. By establishing a central connection point, you reduce the risk of accidental short circuits and ensure a consistent, low-resistance path for your current.
The Solution to Battery Terminal Congestion
Attempting to stack more than three or four lugs onto a single battery post is widely considered poor practice. It creates mechanical stress on the battery terminal and increases resistance. This Mini PowerPost solves that problem by acting as a high-amperage busbar alternative for single-point connections. It allows you to terminate cables securely away from the battery, keeping your power source clean and accessible for maintenance.
Engineered for Marine and Off-Grid Durability
Electrical components in boats and recreational vehicles face constant vibration, moisture, and temperature fluctuations. This unit features a 10-32 (Approx. M5) stainless steel stud, chosen specifically for its resistance to corrosion and high tensile strength. The base is constructed from reinforced thermoplastic (PBT), offering excellent heat resistance and electrical isolation, ensuring the unit withstands harsh Australian conditions without becoming brittle over time.
Versatile System Integration
Whether you are wiring a small camper trailer or refitting a yacht, system flexibility is key. Rated for a Maximum Voltage of 48V DC, this connector is fully compatible with modern lithium battery banks and higher voltage solar arrays, as well as traditional 12V automotive systems. The red base and cover indicate positive polarity, helping you maintain clear and safe colour-coding throughout your installation.
