Blue Sea Dual Battery Bank Management Panel
Blue Sea Dual Battery Bank Management Panel
m-Series Dual Circuit Plus Switch, 100A Main Breaker & 24hr Circuits

DESCRIPTION
Centralised DC Distribution and Dual Circuit Isolation for Marine Vessels
Managing multiple power sources aboard a vessel or off-grid vehicle requires reliable isolation to prevent starting batteries from draining while running auxiliary loads. The Blue Sea Dual Battery Bank Management Panel provides a streamlined, central hub for controlling two separate battery banks. Equipped with an integrated m-Series Dual Circuit Plus™ battery switch, a 100A main DC breaker, and dedicated 24-hour circuits, this panel simplifies complex wiring while safeguarding your sensitive onboard electronics.
Independent Control with Emergency Cross-Connect
Unlike standard single-circuit switches that require managing multiple dials, the integrated Dual Circuit Plus™ switch simultaneously controls both the engine and house circuits while keeping them electrically isolated. This crucial separation ensures that high-draw house loads do not deplete your engine starting battery, while also shielding your navigation gear, radios, and fish finders from damaging voltage sags and spikes during engine cranking.
In the event that your starting battery becomes depleted out on the water, the switch features a built-in Combine Batteries position. This provides an immediate emergency cross-connect, paralleling both isolated battery banks to draw starting power from the house bank without requiring dangerous manual jumper cables.
Integrated Circuit Protection and 24-Hour Loads
Beyond simple battery switching, this panel streamlines your entire primary DC power distribution. It incorporates a heavy-duty 100A main rocker circuit breaker to protect your primary house distribution feed. Additionally, it features dedicated push-to-reset circuit breakers designed specifically for 24-hour essential circuits. This allows critical systems such as automatic bilge pumps, stereo memory, and security alarms to remain continuously powered even when the main battery switch is turned to the OFF position.
Key Features and Benefits
- m-Series Dual Circuit Plus™ Switch: Simultaneously switches two isolated battery banks (Engine and House) with a single, intuitive control knob.
- Electronics Protection: Isolates sensitive house electronics from harmful voltage drops and spikes caused by high-current engine cranking.
- Emergency Combine Function: Easily parallels both battery banks for emergency starting if the dedicated engine battery runs flat.
- 100A Main Circuit Breaker: Provides robust overcurrent protection and acts as a master disconnect for downstream DC distribution panels.
- Dedicated 24-Hour Circuits: Integrated push-to-reset breakers maintain continuous power for vital equipment like bilge pumps and memory-sensitive electronics.
- Ignition Protected: Certified safe for installation in the engine compartments of petrol-powered boats, reducing the risk of igniting surrounding flammable vapours.
Expandable Marine and Off-Grid Charging
Engineered specifically for harsh marine environments, this management panel reduces the risk of electrical failure and messy, unlabelled wiring setups. For a fully automated power system, you can pair this panel with an external Automatic Charging Relay (ACR) to automatically share charging current from your alternator or battery charger between both banks. Please note: The ACR is an optional component and is not included with this panel.
Upgrade Your Onboard Power Management
Eliminate the guesswork and potential hazards of manual battery switching. Add the Blue Sea Dual Battery Bank Management Panel to your marine or off-grid electrical setup today for dependable, isolated power control on every trip.
