Black DPST On-momentary rocker switch for 360 panel mounting

Blue Sea DPST On-(On) Rocker Switch for 360 Panels

DESCRIPTION

Seamless Control for Blue Sea Systems 360 Panels

Managing complex electrical systems in marine, caravan, and off-grid environments requires dependable switching hardware that integrates cleanly into your distribution setup. The Blue Sea DPST On-(On) Rocker Switch is engineered specifically for the modular Blue Sea Systems 360 panel range, offering precise, dual-circuit switching in a compact, snap-in format. Whether you are building a custom electrical dashboard from scratch or replacing a worn component in an existing setup, this switch delivers the mechanical reliability expected from genuine Blue Sea Systems components.

Understanding DPST On-(On) Momentary Operation

Selecting the correct switch configuration is critical for protecting sensitive electronics and ensuring intuitive operation. This switch features a Double Pole Single Throw (DPST) design, meaning it controls two electrically separate circuits simultaneously with a single actuator motion. The On-(On) notation indicates a maintained-to-momentary action. In its resting position, the switch maintains an active state. When pressed to the secondary position, it engages a momentary circuit and automatically springs back to the maintained position once released.

This specific action reduces the risk of accidentally leaving secondary diagnostic or temporary loads engaged. It is particularly useful in battery management and monitoring setups where a temporary state change is required without interrupting the primary system architecture.

Engineered for 360 Panel Modular Integration

Unlike standard off-the-shelf switches that often require custom panel modifications, filing, or awkward adapter bezels, this component is purpose-built for direct integration into the 360 Panel System. The precision snap-in mounting design ensures a secure, rattle-free fit that withstands the constant vibration and movement experienced in 4WDs, caravans, and marine vessels. Using genuine specified hardware eliminates the frustration of loose fittings and maintains a uniform, professional aesthetic across your entire control board.

This rocker switch is specified for direct compatibility with the following 360 Panel modules:

  • Gauge Modules: Ideal for temporarily toggling display modes, backlighting, or cycling through monitoring parameters.
  • DC Push Button + Switch Modules: Provides cohesive switching control alongside heavy-duty push-button operations.
  • DC Battery Management Modules: Suits specialised control functions within comprehensive DC power distribution layouts.

Key Features and Benefits

  • DPST On-(On) Configuration: Simultaneous dual-pole control with a maintained-to-momentary spring-return action for specialised circuit management.
  • 360 Panel System Compatibility: Purpose-built for Gauge, DC Push Button + Switch, and DC Battery Management modules.
  • Snap-In Mounting Design: Enables straightforward, secure installation into designated 360 panel cutouts without requiring complex mounting hardware.
  • Tactile Black Actuator: Provides positive mechanical feedback and matches the clean, understated profile of Blue Sea Systems modular panels.
  • Vibration-Resistant Fitment: Engineered to stay firmly seated during rough off-road travel or choppy marine conditions.

Complete Your Modular Panel Setup

Ensure your electrical distribution board operates exactly as intended with genuine switching components. Select the Blue Sea DPST On-(On) Rocker Switch to complete your 360 Panel installation or keep one on hand as a direct replacement for your marine or off-grid power system.
