Blue Sea DPDT (On)-Off-(On) Rocker Switch for 360 Panels
Blue Sea DPDT (On)-Off-(On) Rocker Switch for 360 Panels
Momentary Dual-Circuit Control for Gauge & Battery Modules

DESCRIPTION
Precision Momentary Circuit Control for Marine and Mobile Electrical Systems
Managing complex electrical systems in marine vessels, RVs, and specialised off-grid builds requires reliable switching components that integrate cleanly into your dashboard or control board. The Blue Sea Systems Double Pole Double Throw (DPDT) rocker switch provides dependable momentary control specifically engineered for the modular Blue Sea 360 Panel System. Featuring a spring-loaded (On)-Off-(On) action, this switch returns automatically to the central off position when released, making it ideal for applications requiring temporary circuit engagement or dual-circuit monitoring.
Key Features and Benefits
- Double Pole Double Throw (DPDT) Configuration: Controls two independent circuits simultaneously or manages polarity-reversing applications from a single actuator.
- Dual Momentary Action: The (On)-Off-(On) spring-return mechanism prevents accidental continuous activation, reducing the risk of battery drain or equipment damage.
- Seamless 360 Panel Integration: Designed with a precision snap-in mounting bezel for a flush, factory-grade fit within designated Blue Sea 360 modules.
- Clear Visual Indicators: Features a matte black rocker actuator with high-contrast white I, O, and II markings for immediate status recognition in low-light helm or cabin environments.
- Marine-Grade Construction: Manufactured utilising proven Carling Technologies switching mechanisms to withstand vibration and harsh marine conditions.
Engineered for Modular 360 Panel Systems
The Blue Sea 360 Panel Series is renowned among marine electricians and custom vehicle builders for its versatility and clean aesthetic. This specific DPDT rocker switch is the designated component for expanding or repairing specific modules within the 360 ecosystem. It is directly compatible with the 360 Panel Gauge Module, the DC Push Button + Switch Module, and the DC Battery Management Module.
In a Gauge Module setup, the momentary (On)-Off-(On) functionality is frequently utilised to toggle a single volt or ammeter between two separate battery banks (such as House and Start batteries) without leaving the gauge permanently drawing power. In DC Battery Management or custom switching modules, it serves as a reliable trigger for remote battery switches, windlasses, trim tabs, or motorised hatches where precise, momentary actuation is required for safe operation.
Why Choose Dedicated Blue Sea Switching Components?
When building or maintaining critical 12V or 24V electrical distribution panels, using unbranded or ill-fitting switches can lead to loose panel tolerances, premature mechanical failure, and high-resistance connections. Inferior switches often suffer from weak internal springs that fail to return to the neutral off position, creating hazardous conditions for pumps, actuators, or battery management relays.
By selecting the genuine Blue Sea BS-7495B switch, you ensure exact mechanical compatibility with your existing 360 Series cutouts and bezels. The underlying Carling Technologies architecture provides crisp tactile feedback and enduring mechanical life, reducing the risk of stuck contacts or accidental circuit cross-over in demanding mobile environments.
Upgrade Your 360 Panel Control
Whether you are configuring a new custom electrical distribution board or replacing a worn actuator in your vessel or off-grid vehicle, this switch delivers professional-grade reliability. Add the Blue Sea DPDT (On)-Off-(On) Rocker Switch to your build today to ensure precise, safe momentary control across your 360 Panel modules.
