Hinged Switch Cover for Single-Pole Breakers - Includes Screws

DESCRIPTION
Reliable Protection Against Accidental Circuit Breaker Switching
Essential Switch Security for Marine, RV, and Off-Grid Electrical Panels
In mobile and marine environments, cramped quarters and constant movement create a distinct hazard for electrical distribution panels. An accidental bump from a shifting bag, a stray elbow, or a passing crew member can inadvertently trip a critical circuit breaker or activate a system at the wrong time. The Blue Sea Circuit Breaker A-Series Toggle Guard is specifically engineered to eliminate the risk of unintended switching on your 12V, 24V, or AC electrical panels.
Designed to fit seamlessly over standard toggle-style switches, this physical barrier ensures that vital circuits remain in their intended state. Whether you need to keep a bilge pump, navigation system, or off-grid inverter continuously powered, or ensure a high-draw appliance remains safely isolated during maintenance, this toggle guard provides a dependable mechanical safeguard.
Engineered for Practicality and Broad Compatibility
While purpose-built for the renowned Blue Sea Systems A-Series single-pole circuit breakers, the versatile geometry of this guard makes it compatible with a wide range of standard toggle-type circuit breakers and panel switches, regardless of the panel manufacturer. This makes it an ideal retro-fit upgrade for custom 4WD canopies, caravans, commercial vehicles, and marine vessels.
Unlike makeshift covers that obscure the switch panel, this unit is designed with operational clarity in mind. It features a hinged mechanism that remains securely closed during normal conditions to block physical impacts, yet flips open effortlessly when deliberate manual operation is required. Furthermore, a dedicated viewing aperture allows operators to clearly inspect the toggle position and verify the circuit status at a glance without needing to lift the cover.
- Prevents Unintended Operation: Shields critical single-pole toggle breakers from accidental knocks and vibration in high-traffic areas.
- Hinged Access Design: Stays firmly in the guarded position to protect the switch, while hinging open smoothly for intentional switching.
- Clear Status Visibility: Integrated viewing window ensures you can immediately see whether the circuit is on or off.
- Universal Panel Fitment: Suits all Blue Sea A-Series single-pole breakers and fits most industry-standard toggle breaker panels across various brands.
- Straightforward Installation: Mounts directly to the panel face utilising the existing circuit-breaker mounting screw hole, with two mounting screws included for immediate setup.
Reduce Operational Risks in Critical Systems
Relying on unprotected toggle switches in tight spaces introduces unnecessary risk to your power system. Inadvertently switching off a fridge circuit in a caravan can lead to spoiled provisions, while accidentally engaging a windlass or pump on a boat can cause equipment damage or safety hazards. Upgrading your distribution board with dedicated switch guards is a professional, non-invasive way to harden your electrical system against human error and environmental movement.
Installation requires no panel modifications or complex tools. By sharing the mounting footprint of the breaker itself, the guard integrates cleanly into your existing layout, maintaining a neat, professional aesthetic across your dash or control board.
Secure Your Critical Circuits Today
Protect your essential marine, RV, and off-grid power systems from accidental interruptions. Add the Blue Sea A-Series Toggle Guard to your electrical panel configuration for reliable, everyday peace of mind.
