Blue Sea 12V BelowDeck 4 Position Circuit Breaker Panel with Two 12V Sockets

DESCRIPTION

Compact 12V DC Marine and Off-Grid Power Distribution Panel

Managing electrical systems in confined marine cabins, 4WDs, or caravan interiors requires hardware that maximises space without compromising on safety. The Blue Sea Systems BelowDeck Circuit Breaker Panel provides a consolidated, low-profile solution for 12V DC circuit protection and accessory charging. Engineered specifically for below-deck marine environments and mobile off-grid applications, this unit integrates four dedicated circuit breakers with two 12V DC sockets into a single, streamlined module.

Standard consumer-grade switch panels often suffer from brittle plastics, messy rear wiring harnesses, and corrosion when exposed to coastal air. This panel solves those issues by utilising a heavy-duty polycarbonate and ABS surface that is UV-stabilised, flame-retardant, and completely corrosion-resistant. Whether you are wiring navigation instruments on a vessel or setting up auxiliary lighting and power outlets in a camper trailer, this panel ensures reliable, long-term electrical distribution.

Engineered for Harsh Marine and Mobile Environments

At the core of the panel are four Carling Technologies 15A circuit breakers. These switches perform the dual function of circuit switching and overcurrent protection, eliminating the need to carry spare fuses or fumble with fuse holders in the dark. Each rocker switch features an integrated red LED that illuminates when in the "ON" position, allowing for immediate visual confirmation of active circuits during night navigation or in dimly lit canopies.

  • Integrated 15A Circuit Breakers: Four Carling Technologies rocker switches provide reliable overcurrent protection and manual switching in one mechanism.
  • Dual 12V DC Power Sockets: Two built-in 12V accessory sockets feature protective caps to keep out dust and moisture when not in use.
  • Corrosion-Resistant Construction: The moulded polycarbonate/ABS faceplate withstands salt air, UV exposure, and high humidity without degrading.
  • Clutter-Free Bus Design: A pre-installed quick-connect bus bar system eliminates messy rear wire harnesses, significantly reducing the panel's mounting depth.
  • Clear Night-Time Visibility: Red LED indicators provide safe, clear operational status in low-light conditions.
  • Customisable Circuit Identification: Includes a set of 15 square-format circuit labels that are simple to apply and replace as your system evolves.

Simplified, Clutter-Free Installation

Installing electrical panels in tight bulkheads or vehicle consoles can be difficult when dealing with bulky rear wiring looms. The BelowDeck series simplifies this process with a streamlined two-wire connection system that powers the entire panel using #10 (Approx. M5) ring terminals screwed directly to the bus bars for a secure, vibration-resistant connection. Connecting individual load wires is equally straightforward thanks to the 1/4" (Approx. 6.35mm) male quick-connect terminals on the circuit breakers.

With a shallow depth of just 44.45mm, this low-profile design easily clears structural framing behind dashboards and cabin walls. To ensure a secure fit straight out of the box, the panel is supplied with stainless steel #6 x 5/8" (Approx. 3.5mm x 16mm) mounting screws that resist rust in marine environments.
