Blue Sea 12V 8-Circuit Fuse Panel, Grey, IP67-Rated Front
ATO/ATC Fuse Protection, Bi-Colour Status LEDs & Dimmable Backlighting

DESCRIPTION
Waterproof 12V DC Marine Switch and Fuse Panel for Exposed Environments
Engineered for Flybridge, Open-Cockpit, and Off-Road Electrical Systems
Managing electrical distribution in exposed marine and off-road environments requires hardware that can withstand relentless moisture, salt spray, and vibration. This Blue Sea Systems 8-circuit fuse panel is specifically engineered to provide reliable 12V DC circuit protection and switching in open-cockpit boats, flybridges, and rugged 4WD canopies. Unlike standard interior switch panels that quickly corrode or short-circuit when exposed to weather, this purpose-built marine fuse panel features protective rubber toggle boots and a sealed front face to keep your critical electronics running safely.
When properly installed with a watertight mounting gasket, the front of the panel achieves an IP67 ingress protection rating. This ensures the unit is protected against dust and temporary immersion in water up to 1 metre deep for 30 minutes, significantly reducing the risk of electrical failure during heavy seas, washdowns, or torrential rain.
Intelligent Diagnostics and Night-Time Visibility
Troubleshooting a blown fuse on the water or at a dark campsite can be frustrating and hazardous. This 8-position switch panel integrates smart visual diagnostics using bi-coloured LEDs alongside an independent backlighting system, allowing you to monitor system health at a glance without preserving night vision.
- Bi-Coloured LED Status Indicators: Instantly identify circuit status with Green indicating ON, Red indicating OFF, and No Colour alerting you to a blown fuse. If no indicators illuminate in any switch position, it provides an immediate diagnostic cue that the panel is not receiving main power.
- Dimmable Backlit Labels: Features an independent label-backlighting circuit that supports remote switching and dimming, preventing helm glare during night navigation.
- Integrated ATO/ATC Fuse Protection: Uses widely available standard blade fuses for straightforward maintenance and dependable overcurrent protection across all eight circuits.
- Flexible 4-Way Mounting: Engineered to be mounted in four different orientations, allowing clean integration into tight dash layouts, narrow consoles, or custom electrical enclosures.
- Weather-Resistant Controls: Heavy-duty toggle switches are outfitted with durable rubber boots to prevent moisture ingress at the actuator pivot point.
Why Upgrade to a Purpose-Built Marine Fuse Panel?
Standard automotive switch panels often lack proper environmental sealing and clear fault indication, leading to hidden voltage drops, corroded terminals, and lengthy troubleshooting when a circuit fails. By consolidating your switching and ATO/ATC fuse protection into a single sealed module, you streamline your wiring harness and reduce potential points of failure. Please note that a watertight mounting gasket is required to achieve the full IP67 front rating.
Applications
- Marine Vessels: Ideal for centre consoles, flybridges,RIBs, and open-cockpit fishing boats requiring weatherproof switching for bilge pumps, navigation lights, and sonar.
- 4WD and Touring: Suitable for external canopy control panels, camper trailer kitchens, and UTV dashboards exposed to dust and mud.
- Industrial and Commercial: Dependable 12V DC switching for open-cab machinery and mobile service vehicles.
Upgrade Your 12V Electrical Distribution
Ensure your vessel or off-grid vehicle is equipped to handle harsh Australian conditions. Add this Blue Sea Systems 8-circuit waterproof switch and fuse panel to your setup for streamlined, dependable 12V power management.
