12V DC distribution panel with 5 circuits, integrated digital multimeter and battery bank selector

Blue Sea 12V/24V 100A 8401 5 Position DC Circuit Breaker Panel with 15A Breakers and Multi-Function Meter

DESCRIPTION

Integrated 12V and 24V DC Power Distribution and Battery Monitoring

Managing multiple electrical circuits in demanding marine, caravan, and off-grid environments requires a reliable and organised control centre. This 5-position DC distribution panel provides a professional solution for circuit protection, load control, and system diagnostics. Engineered to handle nominal 12V DC and 24V DC architectures with a total maximum rating of 100A, it consolidates your critical power management into a single, streamlined interface.

Unlike inferior alternatives that require complex manual wiring on the rear of the faceplate, this unit arrives with all positive, negative, and grounding buses installed and fully pre-wired. This factory-configured assembly reduces installation time, minimises the risk of wiring errors or loose connections, and ensures clean routing behind the dash or bulkhead.

Comprehensive Digital System Diagnostics

At the top of the panel is an integrated DC digital multi-function meter with a built-in alarm. Paired with a dedicated 3-position battery bank selector toggle switch, it allows you to accurately monitor voltage and current across up to three separate battery banks. Having real-time visibility into your electrical parameters helps prevent deep-discharge damage to your batteries and alerts you to abnormal load draws before they cause system failure.

Key Features and Benefits

  • Fully Pre-Wired Busbars: Positive, negative, and grounding buses are factory-installed to simplify commissioning and improve electrical safety.
  • Multi-Bank Monitoring: Includes a digital multi-function meter and toggle switch to track voltage and amperage across up to three independent battery banks.
  • Magnetic Hydraulic Circuit Protection: Equipped with five 15A single-pole white toggle circuit breakers that combine switching and precise overcurrent protection into one durable device.
  • Night-Time Visibility: All circuit label positions are backlit as standard without requiring additional kits, paired with discrete indicator LEDs that confirm when a circuit is energised.
  • Customisable Load Identification: Supplied with a 30-piece basic DC label set suited for common marine, RV, and off-grid electronics, refrigeration, lighting, and pumps.

Engineered for Low-Light and Harsh Environments

Operating a vessel at night or managing a camper electrical system in low light requires clear visual feedback. Every circuit position on this distribution panel features integrated backlighting right out of the box, removing the need for aftermarket lighting kits. Additionally, individual amber indicator LEDs sit alongside each toggle breaker, providing immediate confirmation of active loads so you do not accidentally leave high-draw appliances running.

Versatile Applications

Built to meet strict electrical standards, this 5-way DC breaker panel is suited for a wide range of mobile and stationary power systems:

  • Marine Vessels: Ideal for yachts, powerboats, and commercial craft requiring consolidated helm or cabin DC distribution for bilge pumps, navigation electronics, and cabin lighting.
  • Caravans and Motorhomes: Provides a central hub for managing 12V or 24V house battery loads, water pumps, fridges, and auxiliary outlets.
  • Service Vehicles and Dual Cab Canopies: Delivers robust circuit protection and battery monitoring for mobile workshops and 4WD touring setups.

Upgrade Your DC Electrical System

Ensure safe, organised, and transparent power distribution for your next marine or mobile build by adding this pre-wired 5-position DC breaker panel to your setup today.
