DESCRIPTION
Advanced 12V DC Branch-Circuit Management for Marine and Off-Grid Systems
The Blue Sea Systems 360 Series 16-Position DC Distribution Panel provides a centralised, professional-grade solution for managing complex 12V electrical architectures. Engineered for demanding marine, caravan, and specialised vehicle environments, this distribution panel consolidates circuit protection and switching into a single, streamlined module. By utilising the modular 360 Panel System platform, installers can establish a clean, organised electrical hub that eliminates the clutter and fault risks associated with dispersed inline fuses and sub-standard switchboards.
Integrated Circuit Protection and Visual Status Monitoring
Each of the 16 branch positions is equipped with a pre-installed 15A rocker circuit breaker. This dual-purpose design combines manual circuit switching with reliable overcurrent protection, eliminating the need to carry and replace spare fuses when a fault occurs. To enhance operational awareness in low-light cabins or equipment bays, every circuit features an integrated amber LED indicator. These status lights provide immediate visual confirmation when a specific branch circuit is energised, helping operators manage power consumption and quickly identify active loads across the 12V DC system.
Key Features and System Benefits
- 16-Position Configuration: Consolidates up to 16 individual 12V DC loads into a unified control point, ideal for vessels and vehicles with extensive electronics, lighting, and pump systems.
- Pre-Installed 15A Rocker Breakers: Delivers precise overcurrent protection and ergonomic manual switching for each individual branch circuit.
- Amber LED Indicators: Provides clear, at-a-glance visual verification of energised circuits to prevent accidental battery drain.
- Modular 360 Series Frame: Features a clean aesthetic with hidden mounting fasteners, designed to integrate seamlessly alongside other Blue Sea 360 Series components.
- Recessed Label Positions: Supplied with the 4205 Square Format Label Set, allowing for tailored, durable identification of navigation gear, cabin lights, and auxiliary appliances.
- Expandable Architecture: Part of a broader family supporting 4 to 32 branch circuits, with compatibility for optional voltmeters, ammeters, and digital multimeters (note: monitoring meters are not included with this unit).
Engineered for Reliability and Risk Reduction
Complex 12V installations in boats and off-grid recreational vehicles are frequently subjected to continuous vibration, moisture, and thermal cycling. Standard switch panels often suffer from exposed fasteners that corrode, loose wiring connections, or poorly marked switches that lead to operator error during critical situations. The Blue Sea 360 Series mitigates these risks through robust construction and logical layout design. The recessed label slots protect circuit identifiers from peeling or fading, while the hidden fastener bezel ensures a snag-free, professional finish on the helm or control bulkhead.
Applications and System Integration
Whether you are conducting a complete marine electrical refit, building out a commercial service vehicle, or designing a comprehensive off-grid caravan power system, this 16-position panel offers the scalability required for modern DC loads. Please note that while the 360 platform supports integrated electrical monitoring, voltmeters, ammeters, and digital multimeters are optional accessories and must be sourced separately if panel-mounted metering is required for your installation.
Upgrade your 12V electrical distribution with the proven reliability of Blue Sea Systems. Add the 16-Position 360 Series DC Panel to your build specification today to ensure safe, organised, and intuitive circuit control.
