Blue Sea 10A A-Series Single Pole Restricted Off Flat Rocker Circuit Breaker

DESCRIPTION

Reliable Overcurrent Protection and Manual Control for 24-Hour Circuits

Managing critical electrical systems in marine vessels, caravans, and off-grid setups requires components that prevent human error while delivering steadfast protection. The Blue Sea A-Series 10A Restricted-Off Flat Rocker Circuit Breaker is specifically engineered to combine manual switching and overcurrent protection into a single, reliable device. Designed for essential 24-hour circuits, its unique actuator profile sits completely flush with the mounting bezel when in the ON position. This physical design eliminates the risk of accidental deactivation caused by bumps, snagged clothing, or shifting gear in tight quarters.

Unlike standard toggle switches or inferior overcurrent protection devices that can easily be knocked off in rough seas or corrugated off-road conditions, the Restricted-Off flat rocker requires deliberate action to disconnect power. This makes it the ideal choice for continuous-duty applications such as bilge pumps, security systems, battery management systems, and refrigeration units where unintended power loss could lead to costly damage or safety hazards.

Engineered for Safety: Trip-Free Design

At the core of the Blue Sea A-Series is a magnetic hydraulic trip-free mechanism. In the event of an electrical fault or overload exceeding the 10A rating, the breaker will trip internally to protect your wiring and equipment, even if the rocker actuator is physically held or jammed in the ON position. Once tripped, the actuator moves to reveal a distinct colour indicator in the OFF position, allowing for immediate visual troubleshooting on crowded switch panels.

Key Features and Benefits

  • Restricted-Off Flush Actuator: Sits flush when ON to prevent unintended switching on critical 24-hour circuits.
  • Trip-Free Internal Mechanism: Ensures the circuit breaker will trip during a fault-current condition regardless of whether the actuator is held ON.
  • Dual Functionality: Combines dependable manual on-off switching with precise 10A overcurrent protection, reducing panel clutter.
  • Clear Visual Status: The actuator colour explicitly indicates the OFF position, paired with international ON/OFF symbols for straightforward identification.
  • Flexible Mounting Orientation: International symbols allow for clean, readable installation in either vertical or horizontal panel layouts.
  • Robust Terminations: Equipped with heavy-duty brass threaded inserts to ensure secure, low-resistance electrical connections that resist vibration.

Built for Demanding Marine and Mobile Environments

Electrical connections in mobile and marine applications are constantly subjected to vibration, moisture, and temperature fluctuations. Inferior circuit breakers often suffer from nuisance tripping in high ambient temperatures or loose connections over time. The Blue Sea A-Series addresses these challenges with precision manufacturing and durable brass terminal inserts, ensuring your wiring remains securely fastened and conductive over years of service.

Whether you are building a custom electrical distribution panel for a cruising yacht, upgrading a 4WD canopy power system, or fitting out an industrial control cabinet, this 10A single-pole breaker offers a clean, professional finish that integrates seamlessly into standard A-Series panel cutouts.

Secure Your Critical Circuits Today

Upgrade your electrical distribution panel with the Blue Sea A-Series 10A Restricted-Off Circuit Breaker to safeguard your continuous-duty equipment against both electrical faults and accidental shut-offs.
