Blue Sea 100A AC C-Series Triple-Pole Flat Rocker Circuit Breaker
Blue Sea 100A AC C-Series Triple-Pole Flat Rocker Circuit Breaker
Trip-Free Overcurrent Protection & Flush Switch - 5/16" (8mm) Studs

DESCRIPTION
High-Amperage Circuit Protection and Manual Switching
Managing high-current loads in marine, caravan, and off-grid electrical systems requires dependable overcurrent protection and straightforward isolation. The Blue Sea C-Series 100A AC Triple-Pole Flat Rocker Circuit Breaker integrates both functions into a single, robust unit. By combining manual on-off switching with precision overcurrent protection, it simplifies panel layouts and eliminates the need to wire separate switches and fuse holders.
This compact triple-pole enclosure is specifically engineered to handle demanding applications. It is widely used for protecting heavy-duty circuits serving large inverters, bow thrusters, and windlasses, where reliable disconnection and fault protection are critical to system safety.
Engineered for Safety: Trip-Free and Flush Rocker Design
In mobile and marine environments, accidental switching can disrupt critical power supplies or engage heavy equipment unexpectedly. This C-Series breaker features a specially contoured flat rocker actuator that sits completely flush when in the ON position. This low-profile geometry significantly reduces the risk of accidental actuation when brushing past control panels in tight quarters. Furthermore, the colour-coded actuator clearly reveals the OFF position for immediate visual confirmation of circuit status during maintenance or emergencies.
Safety during fault conditions is managed by an internal trip-free mechanism. If an overload or short circuit occurs, the breaker trips internally and cannot be held closed manually. Unlike standard switches or inferior protection devices that might allow an operator to force a circuit live during a fault, this trip-free design ensures the circuit remains isolated until the underlying electrical issue is resolved, reducing the risk of cable overheating and equipment damage.
Key Features and Benefits
- Dual Functionality: Combines heavy-duty manual on-off switching with reliable 100A overcurrent protection in one compact housing.
- Flush ON Actuator: Flat rocker sits flush in the ON position to prevent accidental switching, with clear colour indication when switched OFF.
- Trip-Free Mechanism: Internal design ensures the contacts cannot be held closed during an overcurrent fault condition.
- Heavy-Duty Connections: Paralleled poles feature a robust 5/16" (Approx. 8mm / M8) rear stud terminal on the bus to accommodate high-current cable lugs securely.
- Secure Installation: Equipped with threaded brass inserts for straightforward, durable front-panel mounting.
- High-Load Application: Purpose-built to protect circuits supplying high-draw equipment such as inverters, windlasses, and bow thrusters.
Built for Demanding Electrical Installations
High-amperage connections require solid mechanical termination to prevent voltage drop and dangerous heat build-up at the distribution panel. The rear of this triple-pole housing features paralleled poles with heavy-duty 5/16" (Approx. 8mm / M8) stud terminals on the bus, providing ample contact area for thick battery and inverter cables. Integrated threaded brass mounting inserts allow for secure attachment to custom dashboards, marine switchboards, or off-grid power distribution enclosures without risking stripped threads from vibration.
Upgrade Your Electrical Panel Protection
Equip your vessel, off-grid cabin, or recreational vehicle with professional-grade circuit management. Select this 100A C-Series flat rocker circuit breaker to ensure safe, compliant switching and overcurrent protection for your high-demand electrical circuits.
