DESCRIPTION
Simarine SCQ25 Quad Shunt Module: Precision 4-Channel Monitoring
Advanced 12V and 24V System Tracking for Marine and RV Applications
The SCQ25 is an advanced monitoring solution designed to provide precise tracking of individual consumers or generators in your 12V and 24V setups. Unlike standard single-channel monitors, this four-channel shunt module delivers detailed visibility over multiple independent circuits. This ensures you maintain complete awareness of your power distribution across boats, caravans, and off-grid power systems.
High-Precision Data and High-Surge Capacity
Built for exact current measurement, each of the four independent sensors accurately tracks loads up to 25A continuously. With a rapid sampling rate of 100 milliseconds and a highly sensitive resolution of 0.01A, the module provides instantly responsive data feedback to your monitoring display. Furthermore, the unit is built to safely handle temporary power spikes. It accommodates peak currents up to 35A for under one minute and up to 50A for a five-second window, allowing it to manage the initial inrush currents from water pumps, refrigeration compressors, or motorised equipment without tripping or sustaining damage.
Seamless Integration and Relay Control
Designed to work flawlessly within the broader ecosystem, the module connects effortlessly to your Simarine PICO battery monitor via dual SiCOM RJ9 sockets. Beyond simple monitoring, the SCQ25 features integrated relay controls with Common Input (COM), Normally Open (NO), and Normally Closed (NC) connections. This provides the flexibility to establish automated switching configurations, allowing you to trigger alarms, activate specific circuits, or shut down loads based on predefined system parameters.

Why Choose a Multi-Channel Shunt?
Relying solely on a primary battery monitor gives you an excellent overview of your overall state of charge, but it fails to identify exactly which appliance is consuming the most power. The SCQ25 solves this by segmenting your electrical data. You can independently monitor your solar input, fridge draw, cabin lighting, and water pumps all from a single centralised module. This detailed breakdown reduces the risk of unexpected battery drain, makes troubleshooting electrical faults significantly faster, and allows you to optimise your energy usage while travelling off-grid.
Streamlined Installation and Robust Design
The SCQ25 is engineered for straightforward integration between your switch panel and various DC loads. The physical unit is extremely lightweight at just 230g and compact, measuring 182 x 80 x 32 mm, ensuring it easily fits behind tight switchboards or inside crowded electrical cabinets. Integrated mounting tabs provide a secure, vibration-resistant installation that is essential for rugged mobile travel in camper trailers, 4x4 setups, or marine environments.
Optimise Your Power Management
Upgrade your electrical monitoring with professional-grade diagnostics. Add the Simarine SCQ25 quad shunt to your off-grid system today to gain unparalleled visibility and granular control over your exact energy consumption.
