Blue Sea WeatherDeck SPST On-Off Toggle Switch for WeatherDeck Panels
Blue Sea WeatherDeck SPST On-Off Toggle Switch for WeatherDeck Panels
Carling Technologies IP67 Rated - Nickel-Plated Brass & Phenolic

DESCRIPTION
Heavy-Duty Marine Grade SPST Toggle Switch for WeatherDeck Panels
Engineered specifically for harsh marine and outdoor environments, the Blue Sea Systems WeatherDeck SPST Toggle Switch delivers dependable on-off circuit control when you need it most. Specially manufactured by Carling Technologies for seamless integration into Blue Sea Systems WeatherDeck panels, this Single-Pole Single-Throw (SPST) switch is built to withstand constant exposure to moisture, salt spray, and vibration. Whether you are replacing a worn component on an existing console or customising a new electrical distribution panel, this genuine OEM component ensures precise fitment and long-term operational integrity.
Superior Non-Corrosive Construction
Standard automotive switches rapidly degrade when exposed to coastal air, high humidity, or salt water, leading to high resistance, voltage drop, and eventual circuit failure. To eliminate these risks, this WeatherDeck switch is constructed from high-grade nickel-plated brass and phenolic materials. This non-corrosive composition prevents rust and oxidation from forming on the actuator and housing, ensuring smooth mechanical action and reliable electrical conductivity over years of service in demanding conditions.
IP67 Ingress Protection Capability
When installed in an exposed cockpit, flybridge, or open boat console, protecting your electrical system from water ingress is critical. When paired and mounted with a compatible WeatherDeck Toggle Switch Boot, this switch achieves an IP67 ingress protection rating. This rating certifies that the switch mechanism is completely sealed against dust and capable of withstanding temporary water immersion for up to 30 minutes without compromising the internal contacts. Please note that the IP67 environmental rating applies only when the specified WeatherDeck boot is properly fitted.
Key Features & Benefits
- SPST On-Off Action: Provides straightforward, positive single-pole, single-throw switching for primary 12V or 24V DC loads such as navigation lights, bilge pumps, or auxiliary electronics.
- Carling Technologies Manufacturing: Built to rigorous electrical standards specifically for Blue Sea Systems WeatherDeck waterproof panels.
- Non-Corrosive Materials: Nickel-plated brass toggle lever, threaded mounting bushing, and phenolic housing resist salt mist and chemical degradation.
- IP67 Waterproof Rating: Withstands 30-minute temporary immersion when installed with the appropriate WeatherDeck Toggle Switch Boot.
- Secure Installation: Features a threaded mounting neck with knurled and hex nuts for solid panel retention, paired with quick-connect spade terminals for straightforward wiring.
Built for Demanding Applications
While designed primarily as a dedicated replacement or upgrade component for Blue Sea Systems WeatherDeck panels on boats, yachts, and rigid inflatable boats (RIBs), the robust nature of this switch makes it equally suitable for severe-duty off-road and industrial applications. It is an ideal choice for 4WD canopy setups, camper trailers, and outdoor control boxes where exposure to mud, dust, and rain requires components that exceed standard commercial ratings.
Maintain Your Panel's Integrity
Do not compromise the waterproof rating of your electrical system with inferior switches. Restore or upgrade your Blue Sea Systems WeatherDeck panel with the genuine BS-4150B SPST On-Off Toggle Switch today for reliable circuit control on the water or off the beaten track.
