Blue Sea Triple Battery Bank Management Panel
Blue Sea Triple Battery Bank Management Panel
Dual-Engine & House Isolation with 24-Hour Breakers & Emergency Combine

DESCRIPTION
Centralised Marine Power Distribution for Dual-Engine Vessels
Managing multiple battery banks on a dual-engine vessel requires a dependable, intuitive, and fail-safe electrical architecture. The Blue Sea Systems Triple Battery Bank Management Panel is engineered to simplify complex marine DC power distribution while significantly reducing the risk of stranded situations on the water. Designed specifically for dual-engine configurations, this panel effectively isolates two dedicated starting battery banks from the primary house battery bank, ensuring that heavy domestic loads never compromise your ability to start your engines.
By consolidating battery switching, high-ampere main circuit protection, and continuous 24-hour branch circuits into a single, streamlined assembly, this panel eliminates the clutter and potential failure points of piecemeal wiring setups. Compared to standard aftermarket switches, this integrated management solution vastly reduces installation time and lowers the risk of voltage drops, accidental battery drain, and electrical faults in demanding marine environments.
Independent Isolation and Sensitive Electronics Protection
Modern marine vessels rely heavily on sophisticated navigation, communication, and sonar equipment. When an engine is cranked, the massive current draw can cause severe voltage sags and transient spikes across a shared electrical system, leading to rebooting chartplotters or permanently damaged electronics. By completely isolating the port and starboard engine starting circuits from the house circuit, this panel shields your sensitive helm electronics from cranking interference, delivering clean, uninterrupted power to your domestic loads.
Emergency Cross-Connect and Integrated Circuit Protection
Safety and redundancy are paramount when operating offshore. This triple bank panel incorporates dual-circuit rotary switching with a built-in emergency combine function. In the event that an engine starting battery becomes depleted, you can effortlessly cross-connect the isolated battery banks with the turn of a dial to draw emergency cranking power from the house or auxiliary bank, without the hazardous need to manually swap heavy battery cables in a pitching bilge.
- Dual-Engine & House Isolation: Independently controls three battery banks (two engine, one house) to prevent domestic loads from discharging essential starting batteries.
- High-Ampere Main Breaker: Incorporates primary circuit protection for high-load system feeds, safeguarding heavy-duty cabling from short circuits and overloads.
- 24-Hour Circuit Protection: Features dedicated, push-to-reset circuit breakers for essential continuous loads such as automatic bilge pumps, stereo memory, and security alarms that must remain active even when the main battery switches are turned off.
- Emergency Parallel Function: Allows instant, safe cross-connection between isolated battery banks to assist with engine cranking in flat-battery emergencies.
- Ignition Protected: Engineered and certified for safe installation aboard petrol (gasoline) powered boats, mitigating the risk of igniting surrounding bilge fumes.
- ACR Expandability: Easily integrates with two Automatic Charging Relays (ACRs, sold separately) to fully automate the charging of all three battery banks from your alternators or shore power charger.
Engineered for Harsh Marine Environments
Whether you are fitting out a new offshore sportfisher, upgrading a twin-outboard cruiser, or refitting a commercial patrol vessel, this management panel provides professional-grade control and circuit protection. Please note that while the panel is designed to work seamlessly with Automatic Charging Relays for automated multi-bank charging, the ACR units themselves are not included and must be purchased separately depending on your alternator output ratings.
Upgrade Your Vessel's Electrical Reliability
Take the guesswork out of managing your marine battery banks and protect your onboard electronics from damaging voltage fluctuations. Integrate the Blue Sea Triple Battery Bank Management Panel into your dual-engine electrical system today for safer, more reliable offshore power control.
