Blue Sea ST CLB Circuit Breaker Block Jumper
Blue Sea ST CLB Circuit Breaker Block Jumper
Conductive Metallic Bridge for Common Bus Connections (Jumper Only)

DESCRIPTION
Seamless Bus Connection for ST CLB Circuit Breaker Blocks
Expanding or customising a DC electrical distribution system requires components that maintain consistent conductivity and structural integrity. The Blue Sea ST CLB Circuit Breaker Block Jumper is purpose-built to bridge common bus connections across compatible circuit breaker blocks. By providing a dedicated metallic link, this jumper accessory allows installers to seamlessly connect adjacent circuits or blocks without relying on bulky, custom-made wire loops that can clutter a wiring enclosure and introduce unnecessary resistance.
Please note that this product includes the metallic jumper component only; the ST CLB Circuit Breaker Block itself is sold separately. Designing a clean, modular 12V or 24V power distribution panel in marine, caravan, or off-grid automotive applications is significantly easier when using factory-engineered accessories. Using the correct Blue Sea Systems linkage hardware ensures that your circuit protection layout remains organised, serviceable, and safe under continuous electrical loads.
Key Features and Benefits
- Purpose-Built Compatibility: Engineered specifically to match the terminal spacing and geometry of the Blue Sea ST CLB Circuit Breaker Block range.
- Durable Metallic Bridge Design: Manufactured from highly conductive metal with a protective silver finish to minimise voltage drop and resist corrosion in harsh marine and mobile environments.
- Secure Two-Hole Mounting: Features two pre-drilled mounting holes that align precisely with the block studs, ensuring a flat, high-contact surface area when torqued down.
- Streamlined Wiring Layout: Eliminates the need for short, stiff jumper wires and multiple crimped ring terminals, reducing installation time and freeing up space inside tight electrical cabinets.
Reducing Electrical Risks in Mobile and Marine Setups
In high-vibration environments such as 4WD vehicles, caravans, and marine vessels, improper interconnections between power distribution blocks can lead to loose terminals, localised heating, and eventual system failure. Improvised wire jumpers often exert uneven mechanical stress on terminal studs, especially when heavy-gauge cable is bent in tight radii between adjacent poles.
Installing a rigid, pre-formed metallic bridge mitigates these risks. Because the jumper sits flush against the contact surfaces of the ST CLB block, it distributes clamping force evenly across the connection points. This reduces the likelihood of terminal loosening over time and prevents hot spots caused by poor surface contact. Furthermore, its corrosion-resistant finish helps maintain low-resistance pathways even when exposed to coastal air or damp bilge conditions.
Ideal Applications
Whether you are a professional marine electrician or a dedicated DIY installer building a custom dual-battery canopy setup, this jumper accessory simplifies power distribution management. It is commonly used to:
- Link common positive supply buses across dual or multiple ST CLB blocks
- Create grouped circuit banks fed by a single main supply cable
- Replace ageing or makeshift wire links in existing ST CLB installations
- Maintain a clean, professional aesthetic in visible switchboards and control panels
