Blue Sea ST Blade 12 Circuit Split Bus Fuse Block with Negative Bus and Cover
Blue Sea ST Blade 12 Circuit Split Bus Fuse Block with Negative Bus and Cover
12-Circuit (2x6 Isolated) 100A 32V DC Distribution with Negative Bus

DESCRIPTION
Centralised Dual-Group Circuit Protection for 12V and 24V DC Systems
Managing complex electrical systems in marine, RV, and off-grid applications often requires separating circuits that need continuous power from those controlled by a master switch. The ST Blade Split Bus Fuse Block provides a streamlined, professional solution by integrating two isolated groups of six standard ATO/ATC blade fuse circuits into a single, compact footprint. This eliminates the need to install and wire two separate fuse blocks, saving valuable mounting space and simplifying your wiring harness.
Rated for systems up to 32V DC, this 12-circuit distribution block is ideal for both 12V and 24V electrical setups. It allows you to run a mix of 24-hour constant power circuits (such as bilge pumps, security systems, or fridge power) alongside switched accessories (like lighting, navigation equipment, and water pumps) from a single battery. Alternatively, the isolated positive buses can be fed by two separate battery banks, while sharing a common integrated negative busbar to streamline ground returns.
Engineered for Harsh Marine and Automotive Environments
Inferior distribution blocks often suffer from voltage drop, corrosion, and loose connections caused by constant vibration in mobile and marine applications. This unit is built with marine-grade materials to mitigate electrical faults and ensure long-term reliability:
- Dual Isolated Positive Buses: Two independent groups of 6 circuits allow seamless management of switched and unswitched loads, or dual battery feeds.
- High-Conductivity Construction: Tin-plated copper buses and fuse clips provide superior corrosion resistance and minimal resistance, supporting up to 30A per circuit and 100A total block capacity.
- Vibration-Resistant Terminations: #8-32 (approx. M4) screw terminals with captive star lockwashers securely hold ring terminals in place, while one-piece stainless steel flange nuts on the #10-32 (approx. M5) studs ensure safe power and ground connections.
- Compliant Safety Cover: The clear insulating cover satisfies ABYC and USCG insulation requirements, featuring an easy-to-open push-button latch, label recesses for clear circuit identification, and onboard storage for two spare fuses.
- Integrated Negative Bus: Consolidates ground wires into one convenient location, reducing wiring clutter behind the dash or inside electrical cabinets.
Practical Installation and System Integration
Designed for straightforward installation in canopies, caravans, 4WDs, and boats, the block mounts easily using #8 (M4) screws. The use of screw terminals rather than push-on spade connectors ensures that your circuit wiring remains firmly attached even over corrugated roads or rough seas. Please note that ATO/ATC blade fuses and circuit identification labels are sold separately, allowing you to customise the exact amperage ratings and labelling for your specific load requirements.
