Blue Sea SPDT (On)-Off-(On) Rocker Switch for 360 Panels ML
Blue Sea SPDT (On)-Off-(On) Rocker Switch for 360 Panels ML
Dual Momentary Snap-In Control for Gauge & Battery Management Modules

DESCRIPTION
Precision Momentary Switching for Modular Electrical Control
The Blue Sea Systems SPDT (On)-Off-(On) Rocker Switch is an essential component for customising and expanding your modular power distribution setup. Engineered specifically for the versatile Blue Sea 360 Panel System, this Single Pole Double Throw (SPDT) switch provides reliable, dual-action momentary control. Because the switch is spring-loaded to return to its central 'Off' position the moment pressure is released, it is ideal for applications requiring temporary engagement rather than continuous power.
Understanding the (On)-Off-(On) Momentary Configuration
In technical electrical schematics, brackets around the 'On' state indicate a momentary action. This SPDT switch features a central 'Off' resting position and two opposing momentary '(On)' positions. This allows a single actuator to temporarily trigger two separate circuits or reverse polarity for a specific device. In marine, caravan, and off-grid setups, this specific configuration is frequently required for remote control of Blue Sea Systems ML-Series Remote Battery Switches, trim tabs, windlasses, or dual-tank fluid level monitoring on a single gauge.
Key Features and System Benefits
- Dual Momentary Action: Spring-return (On)-Off-(On) functionality prevents circuits from being accidentally left engaged, protecting sensitive equipment and conserving battery power.
- Seamless 360 Panel Integration: Designed with a standardised snap-in profile to fit directly into specific Blue Sea 360 Panel modules without requiring custom cutouts or mounting hardware.
- Clear Visual Indicators: Constructed from durable black housing featuring crisp white line and circle markings for immediate, intuitive identification of switch orientation.
- Marine-Grade Reliability: Built to withstand the vibrations, moisture, and temperature fluctuations typical of Australian marine vessels, 4WDs, and off-grid touring canopies.
Superior Performance Over Standard Switches
When building a high-reliability 12V or 24V electrical system, using inferior, unbranded switches can introduce points of failure such as contact welding, mechanical sticking, or premature housing degradation. This genuine Blue Sea Systems component reduces the risk of electrical faults by providing positive tactile feedback and dependable internal contacts. Furthermore, its precise factory tolerances ensure a flush, rattle-free fit within your dashboard or control panel, maintaining a professional OEM-grade appearance.
Verified Module Compatibility
To ensure a straightforward installation, this rocker switch is engineered to integrate exclusively with the following Blue Sea 360 Panel modules:
- Gauge Modules: Ideal for momentarily switching a single display between two different tank senders or battery banks.
- DC Push Button + Switch Modules: Expands your custom switching array with dedicated momentary control.
- DC Battery Management Modules: Provides the exact momentary pulse required to manually control remote latching battery switches (such as the ML-Series).
