Blue Sea SPDT On-Off-(On) Rocker Switch
Blue Sea SPDT On-Off-(On) Rocker Switch
Fits 360 Panel Gauge & Battery Modules - Snap-In I-O-II Actuator

DESCRIPTION
Precision Circuit Control for Blue Sea Systems 360 Panel Modules
Managing complex electrical panels in marine, RV, and off-grid environments requires switching components that offer uncompromising accuracy and durability. The Blue Sea SPDT On-Off-(On) Rocker Switch is engineered specifically for seamless integration into Blue Sea Systems 360 panel modules. Whether you are building a custom electrical distribution board from the ground up or replacing a worn actuator in an existing setup, this switch delivers the tactile feedback and mechanical reliability required for critical electrical systems.
Designed for specific functional modules within the 360 Panel System, this switch is the designated component for the Gauge, DC Push Button + Switch, and DC Battery Management modules. Using the exact specified switch ensures proper physical fitment, visual uniformity across your dashboard or control board, and reliable electrical operation.
Understanding the SPDT On-Off-(On) Configuration
This component features a Single Pole Double Throw (SPDT) circuit configuration combined with an On-Off-(On) action. In technical terms, a single input circuit can be routed to one of two different output pathways, separated by a central off position. The brackets around the second (On) denote a momentary action, meaning the switch remains in that active state only while physically held down by the operator, automatically springing back to the central Off position when released.
The opposite On position is maintained, locking into place until manually switched back. This specific combination of maintained and momentary switching is highly practical for dual-function electrical applications. For example, in a gauge or battery management module, it allows an operator to continuously monitor a primary battery bank (maintained On), turn the display completely off to conserve power (centre Off), or momentarily check the voltage of an auxiliary or start battery bank (momentary On) without running the risk of leaving the secondary circuit engaged.
Engineered for Demanding Environments
Manufactured with Carling Technologies hardware, this rocker switch is built to withstand the rigours of mobile and marine installations. Low-grade switches often suffer from premature spring failure, contact oxidation, and loose housing tolerances when subjected to continuous road corrugations or wave impacts. Selecting the genuine Blue Sea Systems replacement component mitigates the risk of intermittent electrical faults and panel damage.
- Defined Switching Action: Combines a maintained On position, a central Off position, and a spring-loaded momentary (On) position for versatile circuit control.
- 360 Panel System Compatibility: Tailored specifically for Gauge, DC Push Button + Switch, and DC Battery Management modules.
- Clear Visual Indicators: Features a matte black rocker actuator marked with crisp white I, O, and II position symbols for immediate status recognition.
- Secure Snap-In Mounting: The durable black plastic bezel is designed for firm snap-in panel mounting, resisting vibration and movement in mobile setups.
- SPDT Circuitry: Single Pole Double Throw pole configuration enables reliable switching between two distinct circuits from a single common source.
Seamless Integration and Maintenance
When maintaining or expanding a 360 Panel System, matching the physical profile and electrical characteristics of your existing switches is essential. The snap-in housing design allows for straightforward installation into compatible module cutouts without requiring complex brackets or specialised mounting hardware. Its robust internal contacts ensure minimal voltage drop and consistent actuation over thousands of cycles.
