Blue Sea Panel 360 Control Lockout Slide for ML-Series Switches
Blue Sea Panel 360 Control Lockout Slide for ML-Series Switches
Prevents Accidental Switching on 360 Panels - Labels Sold Separately

DESCRIPTION
Reliable Accidental Switching Protection for Marine and Off-Grid Electrical Systems
In demanding marine, RV, and commercial vehicle environments, an accidental bump against a dashboard or electrical distribution panel can lead to unintended battery isolation, equipment shutdowns, or dangerous cross-connections. The Blue Sea Panel 360 Control Lockout Slide is purpose-built to eliminate this vulnerability. Designed specifically for integration with Blue Sea Systems ML-Series remote battery switches and Contura rocker actuators, this mechanical lockout accessory provides a physical barrier that prevents inadvertent switch operation.
Whether you are managing house and start battery banks on an offshore vessel or controlling critical 12V and 24V circuits in an off-grid expedition vehicle, maintaining deliberate control over your power distribution is essential. Standard unprotected rocker switches can be easily knocked by crew members, shifting gear, or rough seas. By integrating this dedicated lockout slide into your 360 Panel System, you ensure that critical remote switches and automatic charging relays (ACRs) are only actuated when intentionally unlocked by the operator.
Key Features and Benefits
- Physical Switch Lockout: Slides smoothly into place to physically block the rocker actuator, significantly reducing the risk of accidental switching in high-traffic or high-vibration areas.
- ML-Series Compatibility: Engineered to fit seamlessly over Blue Sea ML-Series remote battery switches and dual-sensing ACR control rockers.
- Modular 360 Panel Integration: Snaps directly into standard Blue Sea 360 Panel System frames, allowing for clean, customisable, and scalable electrical panel layouts.
- Customisable Circuit Identification: Features a dedicated recess for standardised square labels, with access to a catalogue of over 500 individual labels to ensure clear, unmistakable system markings.
Engineered for Modular Precision
The Blue Sea 360 Panel System is widely recognised in marine and automotive electrical engineering for its modular flexibility and professional finish. This lockout slide maintains that high standard of build quality, replacing standard bezel trim pieces to add an extra layer of operational safety without requiring complex wiring changes or bulky external guards. It is particularly valuable for switches that control emergency parallel functions (link switches), main battery disconnects, or critical navigation and bilge equipment where an accidental shutdown could compromise safety.
Important Note on Panel Labelling
Please note that the circuit labels shown in any product imagery are for illustration purposes only. Individual labels are not included with the BS-1148 lockout slide. Because every marine and mobile electrical installation is unique, Blue Sea Systems offers a comprehensive range of more than 500 individual square labels (available separately) so you can accurately mark your specific circuit functions.
Ideal Applications
- Marine Vessels: Securing remote battery bank switches, thruster controls, and emergency parallel switches on helm stations or cabin distribution panels.
- Caravans, RVs, and 4WDs: Protecting dual-battery link switches and main 12V or 24V system isolators in tight canopies and living quarters.
- Commercial and Emergency Vehicles: Ensuring auxiliary power take-offs, inverters, and critical work equipment remain in their intended state during transit.
