Modular Bezel with Hidden Fasteners - Switches Not Included

DESCRIPTION
Customisable 3-Position Switch Mounting for Panel 360 Systems
The Blue Sea Systems Panel 360 Blank ML-Contura Switch Panel (BS-1520B) provides a dedicated, professional-grade housing for three rocker switches within a modular electrical enclosure. Designed for marine, RV, and specialised off-grid power systems, this blank aperture module allows electrical system designers and installers to configure custom control arrays while maintaining a unified, factory-finished aesthetic.
Please note that this is a blank mounting module; ML-Contura switches and system legends are not supplied and must be selected separately to suit your specific circuit requirements.
Integrated Lockout Slides for Critical Circuit Safety
Accidental actuation of critical circuits can pose significant operational risks in mobile and marine environments. Whether managing bilge pumps, battery paralleling relays, or heavy-duty inverters, preventing unintended switching is essential. This panel incorporates mechanical lockout slides directly into the bezel design. These slides physically restrict switch movement until intentionally disengaged, reducing the risk of inadvertent operation during rough seas or off-road transit compared to standard, unprotected switch cutouts.
Enhanced Visibility and Clean Modular Architecture
Navigating a helm or control cabinet in low-light conditions requires clear circuit identification. The BS-1520B features integrated backlit label positions above each switch aperture, along with a dedicated header space for identifying overall system voltage or panel function. When paired with compatible illumination, operators can quickly identify switch functions during night operations without compromising night vision.
As part of the Blue Sea Systems 360 Panel System, this module utilises a precision-moulded framing bezel that conceals mounting fasteners. This creates a clean, snag-free profile that integrates seamlessly alongside other 360 Series circuit breaker, gauge, and accessory modules.
Key Features and Benefits
- Three ML-Contura Switch Cutouts: Precision-sized apertures engineered to securely house up to three standard Blue Sea Systems Contura or ML-Series remote control switches.
- Mechanical Lockout Slides: Integrated sliding guards help prevent accidental switching of critical loads or remote battery switches.
- Backlit Label Positions: Recessed slots above each switch position allow for illuminated circuit identification in dark cabins or helm stations.
- System Header Space: Dedicated top label area provides clear visual allocation for system voltage (such as 12V, 24V, or 48V DC) or primary bank designation.
- Hidden Fastener Bezel: The modular 360 Panel frame covers mounting screws for a streamlined, professional dashboard or bulkhead installation.
- Switches Excluded: Supplied as a blank frame to allow complete customisation of switch pole configurations, action types, and actuator colours.
Applications in Marine, RV, and Off-Grid Installations
Standardised panel cutouts often force installers to compromise on switch selection or drill individual holes into dashboards, which can lead to alignment issues and structural fatigue. The Panel 360 platform solves this by offering a structured, expandable grid format. This 3-switch module is well suited for:
- Grouping up to three ML-Series Remote Battery Switches (RBS) or Automatic Charging Relays (ACR) at a central helm or control station.
- Creating a dedicated control bank for marine lighting, pumps, and navigation equipment.
- Building custom power distribution boards in caravans, camper trailers, and service vehicles where vibration resistance and positive switch lockouts are required.
Configure your custom electrical control layout with confidence by adding the Blue Sea Systems BS-1520B 3-switch blank panel to your 360 Series enclosure build today.
