Blue Sea OFF-(ON) AC/DC Push-Button Switch, Panel Mount
Blue Sea OFF-(ON) AC/DC Push-Button Switch, Panel Mount
Momentary Action for Starters & Horns - Fits A-Series / 16mm Holes

DESCRIPTION
Reliable Momentary Control for Marine and Automotive Electrical Panels
The Blue Sea OFF-(ON) AC/DC Push-Button Switch is engineered for electrical control applications where a standard latching ON-OFF action is unsuitable. Featuring a momentary OFF-(ON) mechanism, the circuit remains active only while the white actuator button is depressed, returning immediately to the OFF position upon release. This makes it an essential component for critical intermittent operations across marine vessels, off-grid power setups, and custom automotive dashboards.
Seamless Integration with Circuit Breaker Panels
Designed to maintain a uniform and professional aesthetic on your helm or control board, this panel-mount switch fits directly into standard Blue Sea Systems A-Series toggle circuit breaker apertures. For custom installations or retrofits, it comes supplied with a black mounting adapter plate that suits a standard 5/8-inch (approx. 16mm) circuit breaker mounting hole. The rear of the unit features male quick-connect spade terminals, allowing for straightforward, efficient wiring without the need for complex termination tools.
Non-Corrosive Marine-Grade Construction
Electrical switches in marine and mobile environments are frequently exposed to moisture, salt spray, and vibration. Standard switches often fail prematurely due to internal oxidation and mechanical wear. Blue Sea Systems addresses this risk by constructing this switch from non-corrosive nickel-plated brass and durable phenolic material. This robust housing resists degradation in harsh coastal conditions, reducing the risk of switch failure when operating vital equipment.
Key Features and Benefits
- Momentary OFF-(ON) Action: Provides precise, temporary circuit activation ideal for starters, pumps, and signalling devices.
- Versatile Panel Mounting: Directly fits A-Series toggle circuit breaker cutouts for clean panel integration.
- Adapter Included: Supplied with a mounting plate and installation screws to fit standard 5/8-inch (approx. 16mm) apertures.
- Corrosion-Resistant Materials: Nickel-plated brass and phenolic construction ensures longevity in damp or salt-heavy environments.
- Quick-Connect Terminals: Rear male spade terminals streamline installation and maintenance in tight behind-panel spaces.
Typical Applications
Because this switch prevents accidental continuous operation, it protects motors and solenoids from burnout. It is suited for both AC and DC control circuits, including:
- Generator starters and engine ignition controls
- Manual bilge pump overrides
- Marine and automotive horns
- Windscreen wipers and washers
- Intermittent auxiliary lighting or signalling systems
Upgrade Your Control Panel
Equip your vessel, caravan, or service vehicle with dependable momentary switching. Add the Blue Sea OFF-(ON) Push-Button Switch to your build for clean integration and reliable operation across your critical AC/DC control circuits.
