Blue Sea M2 Organic LED Digital Tank Monitor
Blue Sea M2 Organic LED Digital Tank Monitor
4-Tank Capacity with Auto-Calibration, 80dB Alarm & 500mA Relay

DESCRIPTION
Comprehensive Fluid and Electrical System Monitoring
Managing fluid reserves and electrical metrics is critical for safe, comfortable operation in marine vessels, RVs, and off-grid caravans. The Blue Sea M2 Organic LED Digital Tank Monitor brings essential electrical system parameters and fluid level tracking together into a single, intuitive unit. Designed to monitor up to four separate tanks simultaneously, this digital gauge eliminates the guesswork of fluid management while conserving valuable dashboard or bulkhead space.
Unlike standard analogue gauges that often struggle with glare or poor low-light visibility, the M2 series utilises a bright, high-contrast Organic LED (OLED) screen. Featuring an integrated auto-dimming function, the display automatically adjusts its brightness to match changes in ambient light. This ensures crisp readability under harsh midday sun and prevents night blindness in dark cabins or cockpits. Navigating menus and configuring system parameters is straightforward thanks to four durable, tactile buttons positioned directly on the faceplate.
Precision Calibration for Custom Tank Geometries
One of the most common challenges in marine and mobile installations is obtaining accurate readings from irregularly shaped tanks. Standard monitors frequently report false percentages when fitted to V-hull bilges, curved wheel-arch water tanks, or custom-fabricated fuel cells. The Blue Sea M2 resolves this issue with an intelligent automatic tank calibration feature. By learning the unique profile of your specific tanks, the monitor provides reliable volumetric data across the entire depth of the vessel or vehicle.
Furthermore, the unit is engineered for broad compatibility with common industry sending units. This flexibility allows system builders and retrofitters to integrate the monitor into existing setups without the need to replace functional tank senders, simplifying the upgrade process and reducing installation time.
Active System Protection and External Circuit Control
Beyond passive observation, this digital tank monitor acts as an active safeguard for your onboard systems. Users can programme custom high and low threshold alarms for any monitored parameter. When a critical level is reached, such as a nearly full blackwater holding tank or a depleted freshwater supply, the unit triggers both a visual alarm LED and a clear 80dB internal audible alert. This proactive warning system helps prevent costly overflows, dry-running pumps, and unexpected resource shortages in remote locations.
For advanced automation, the M2 incorporates an isolated 500mA MOSFET External Circuit Relay. This feature allows the monitor to automatically trigger external devices based on any value it measures. Installers can configure the relay to activate an external warning light, sound a remote buzzer in a noisy engine room, or engage a transfer pump switch when fluid levels hit a designated set point.
Key Features and Benefits
- Four-Tank Capacity: Simultaneously tracks levels for up to four individual tanks alongside essential electrical system parameters on one screen.
- Auto-Dimming OLED Display: High-contrast Organic LED screen automatically adapts to ambient lighting for clear visibility day or night.
- Custom Shape Calibration: Automatic calibration accurately maps non-linear and uniquely shaped tanks to prevent misleading fluid readings.
- Integrated 80dB Audible Alarm: Programmable high and low alerts with both visual LED and audible notifications reduce the risk of overflows or empty tanks.
- Automated Circuit Control: Built-in isolated 500mA MOSFET relay enables automatic switching of external circuits, pumps, or secondary alarms based on measured values.
- Broad Sender Compatibility: Works seamlessly with standard tank sending units, making it ideal for both new builds and system retrofits.
- Tactile Interface: Four robust front-panel buttons allow for reliable menu navigation and calibration even in rough conditions.
