Blue Sea M2 OLED AC Multimeter
Blue Sea M2 OLED AC Multimeter
Monitors Volts, Amps, Watts & Hz | IP66 Face & 80dB Alarm | 7V-70V DC

DESCRIPTION
Precision AC System Monitoring for Marine and Off-Grid Applications
Maintaining complete visibility over your alternating current (AC) power infrastructure is critical when managing onboard generators, shore power connections, or off-grid inverters. The Blue Sea Systems M2 OLED AC Multimeter provides comprehensive, real-time tracking of voltage, amperage, frequency (Hz), and total power usage on a single compact interface. Engineered for harsh marine and mobile environments, this digital monitor eliminates the guesswork from load management and helps prevent equipment damage caused by voltage drops, overloads, or unstable frequencies.
High-Visibility Auto-Dimming OLED Display
Standard LCD screens often suffer from poor viewing angles, washout in direct sunlight, or excessive glare during night navigation. The M2 series addresses this with an organic LED (OLED) screen that delivers crisp, high-contrast readouts from virtually any angle. Built-in auto-dimming technology automatically adjusts screen brightness to match ambient lighting conditions, preserving night vision at the helm while remaining completely legible in bright daylight. Four tactile navigation buttons allow for intuitive menu scrolling and parameter configuration, even in rough seas or when wearing gloves.
Advanced Protection and Multi-Circuit Capability
Beyond simple observation, this digital AC multimeter actively assists in protecting your electrical system. It is capable of measuring two separate voltages and two AC circuits, making it ideal for monitoring split-phase systems or comparing shore power against generator output. To safeguard sensitive appliances, the unit features an adjustable 80dB audible alarm paired with a visual LED indicator to immediately alert operators to out-of-bounds conditions, such as high/low voltage or excessive current draw. Additionally, an isolated 500mA MOSFET relay is integrated into the unit, allowing you to trigger external alarms, indicator lights, or automated load-shedding contactors when specific thresholds are breached.
- Comprehensive AC Tracking: Simultaneously monitors AC Volts, Amps, Watts (up to 45kW), and Frequency (Hz) across up to two circuits.
- Superior Readability: High-contrast, auto-dimming OLED screen ensures clear visibility in both direct sunlight and pitch-black conditions.
- Proactive System Alerts: Customisable 80dB audible alarm and visual notification LED warn of dangerous electrical fluctuations.
- External Automation Support: Integrated isolated 500mA MOSFET relay enables external switching or remote alarm integration.
- Marine-Grade Durability: IP66 waterproof front bezel protects against powerful water jets and salt spray when installed correctly with the rear mounting gasket.
- Flexible Integration: Operates on a wide 7V to 70V DC supply range, suitable for 12V, 24V, and 48V auxiliary battery banks.
Engineered for Harsh Environments
Unlike standard commercial panel meters that quickly corrode or fail in damp conditions, the Blue Sea M2 Multimeter is built specifically for marine and heavy-duty RV installations. The monitor face carries an IP66 ingress protection rating, meaning it is sealed against dust and powerful water jets when mounted according to instructions using the included rear foam gasket. The system comes supplied with a 150A AC current transformer for immediate installation, and supports programmable current transformer ratios (allowing expansion up to 300A with an optional Part #1829 transformer, sold separately) to suit high-capacity systems.
