Blue Sea M-Series Battery Switch Spare Key, Black
Blue Sea M-Series Battery Switch Spare Key, Black
Genuine OEM Marine-Grade Polymer Actuator with Lanyard Hole & Grip

DESCRIPTION
Reliable Replacement Actuator for Marine and Off-Grid DC Isolation
Maintaining complete control over your electrical system is critical, whether you are navigating coastal waters or touring remote off-grid tracks. This genuine black replacement knob is engineered specifically for the Blue Sea Systems M-Series (Mini) battery switch range. Designed for switches featuring a removable key or knob actuator, it provides a direct, factory-grade replacement for lost, misplaced, or damaged keys, ensuring your 12V, 24V, or 48V power bank remains accessible and operational when you need it most.
Prevent System Downtime and Security Risks
A removable battery switch actuator is an effective deterrent against unauthorised vessel use and accidental battery drain during storage. However, losing the primary key can leave you stranded without a safe method to engage your starting or house batteries. Attempting to bypass the switch or actuate the internal mechanism with makeshift tools risks damaging the switch housing, compromising its ingress protection, or creating a hazardous electrical fault. Carrying a dedicated spare key on board or attached to your main vessel keyring mitigates this risk entirely, allowing you to restore power immediately without costly switch replacements or dangerous workarounds.
Engineered for Harsh Marine and Automotive Environments
Unlike standard aftermarket alternatives that may suffer from loose tolerances, UV degradation, or brittle failure under torque, this genuine Blue Sea Systems component is manufactured to exact OEM dimensional standards. Constructed from heavy-duty, marine-grade polymer, it resists the corrosive effects of salt spray, high humidity, and prolonged UV exposure typical of Australian marine and 4WD environments.
- Genuine OEM Fitment: Precision-moulded to interlock seamlessly with compatible M-Series removable-key battery switches without play or slippage.
- Ergonomic Thumb Grip: Contoured profile provides high mechanical leverage for smooth rotation, even when operating with wet or gloved hands.
- Integrated Lanyard Hole: Features a pre-moulded attachment point for securing to a floating keyring, lanyard, or dashboard tether to prevent loss.
- Durable Black Polymer Construction: Impact-resistant and UV-stabilised material suited for exposed cockpit, консоль, or canopy installations.
- Colour-Coded Identification: Ideal for replacing standard black actuators or colour-coding specific circuits within a multi-switch distribution panel.
Applications and System Integration
This spare key is an essential addition to any onboard spares kit for boats, yachts, caravans, camper trailers, and dual-cab 4WDs utilising Blue Sea M-Series isolation switches. In complex electrical setups where multiple battery switches manage start, house, and emergency parallel circuits, substituting a standard red knob for this black actuator can also help operators visually differentiate auxiliary or negative isolation switches from primary positive disconnects.
Note: This replacement key is compatible only with Blue Sea Systems M-Series switches designed with a removable key feature; it does not convert standard fixed-knob M-Series switches into removable-key models.
Secure Your Power System Today
Avoid the inconvenience and safety hazards of a missing battery isolator key on your next trip. Add a genuine Blue Sea M-Series spare key to your onboard toolkit or keyring today to ensure uninterrupted control over your marine or off-grid power system.
