Digital DC voltmeter with red LED display and push-button controls for multi-voltage battery systems

Blue Sea Digital DC Voltage Meter with High and Low Alarms

DESCRIPTION

Reliable Multi-Voltage Battery Monitoring for Marine, Caravan, and Off-Grid Systems

Maintaining accurate oversight of your electrical system is essential for preventing unexpected power loss and protecting expensive battery banks. This precision digital DC voltmeter provides continuous, real-time monitoring across a broad 0 to 60V range, making it a highly versatile solution for 12V, 24V, 32V, 36V, and 42V DC architectures. Engineered for demanding environments, it moves beyond basic voltage indicators by combining a high-contrast 4-digit red LED screen with active system alerts, ensuring you are immediately informed of critical electrical fluctuations.

Proactive System Protection with Audio and Visual Alarms

Standard panel meters require constant visual checks, meaning a sudden alternator failure, solar regulator fault, or parasitic drain can easily go unnoticed until it is too late. This unit actively mitigates the risk of deep discharge or overcharging by incorporating programmable high- and low-voltage alarms. When your battery bank falls below or exceeds safe operating thresholds, the meter triggers both an audible alert and a visual indicator. This proactive warning system allows you to intervene early, safeguarding sensitive 12V and 24V electronics and extending the operational lifespan of your deep-cycle batteries.

Key Features and Technical Advantages

  • Broad System Compatibility: Accurately measures 0 to 60V DC, seamlessly integrating into 12V, 24V, 32V, 36V, and 42V electrical setups.
  • Dual-Stage Alert System: User-programmable high and low voltage thresholds activate clear audio and visual alarms to prevent battery damage.
  • Power-Saving Sleep Mode: Programmable sleep functionality blanks the 4-digit LED screen when not in use, minimising parasitic current draw on standby battery banks.
  • Adjustable Display Brightness: Tactile push-button controls allow you to cycle through three distinct brightness levels, reducing cabin glare during night navigation or sleeping hours.
  • Marine-Grade Panel Integration: Features a splashproof front bezel designed to withstand moisture exposure on boat helms and RV control panels, secured firmly via a rear threaded mounting ring.

Engineered for Practical Power Management

In off-grid caravans, camper trailers, and marine vessels, every milliamperage of stored energy counts. Standard digital gauges often suffer from continuous parasitic draw and overly bright screens that disrupt dark environments. By utilising the front-mounted navigation buttons, you can easily dim the high-contrast display or set it to enter a power-conserving sleep mode automatically. When installing the unit into your instrument panel or switchboard, please note that while the front face and bezel are splashproof to handle damp marine and mobile conditions, the rear housing and electrical terminals are not waterproof and must be mounted in a dry, protected enclosure.

Applications Across Mobile and Industrial Platforms

Whether you are managing a dual-battery system in a 4WD, keeping watch over a 24V house bank on a cruising yacht, or monitoring specialised 36V and 42V industrial equipment, this compact gauge delivers dependable telemetry. The threaded mounting ring ensures a secure, vibration-resistant fit in standard circular panel cut-outs, providing a clean, professional finish alongside your existing switchgear.

Upgrade Your Electrical System Oversight

Protect your battery investment and eliminate the guesswork from your power management setup. Integrate this Blue Sea digital DC voltmeter into your control panel today for accurate, real-time voltage tracking and reliable alarm protection.
