Blue Sea Digital AC Multi-Function Meter
Blue Sea Digital AC Multi-Function Meter
Measures V, A, W & Hz for 120V/240V Systems - Includes 150A CT & Alarms

DESCRIPTION
Comprehensive AC Power Monitoring for Marine and Off-Grid Systems
Maintaining complete visibility over your alternating current electrical system is critical for protecting sensitive onboard appliances and ensuring seamless power management. The Blue Sea Systems Digital AC Multi-Function Meter consolidates four essential electrical gauges into a single, compact panel-mount display. Engineered for both 120V AC and 240V AC single-phase systems, this unit accurately tracks voltage, current, frequency, and power (Watts), making it an indispensable upgrade for marine vessels, RVs, caravans, and off-grid inverter setups.
Relying on unmonitored shore power, portable generators, or inverters can expose your electrical system to damaging voltage drops, frequency fluctuations, and circuit overloads. Unlike standard single-function gauges that clutter your dashboard and require complex wiring, this all-in-one digital multimeter simplifies installation while providing real-time diagnostics. It comes complete with a dedicated 150A AC current transformer, enabling safe, non-invasive load monitoring right out of the box.
Proactive System Protection and Smart Alarms
Electrical anomalies often occur without warning, potentially damaging air conditioners, battery chargers, and refrigeration units. To mitigate these risks, this multi-function AC meter features programmable audio and visual alarms for high and low voltage, as well as high amperage conditions. If shore power sags or a generator spikes, the unit immediately alerts you, allowing you to disconnect or shed loads before costly equipment failure occurs.
- Four-in-One Functionality: Accurately measures AC Volts, Amps, Watts (up to 45kW), and Frequency (Hz) on a single high-contrast red LED screen.
- Integrated Safety Alarms: Built-in audible and visual alerts for high/low voltage and excessive current draw protect downstream appliances.
- Energy Efficient Operation: Features a programmable sleep mode that blanks the display to conserve power when active monitoring is not required, alongside three adjustable brightness levels for night vision preservation.
- Marine-Grade Durability: Constructed with a splashproof front face to withstand damp, harsh marine and mobile environments.
- Complete Kit: Supplied with an external 8256 AC Current Transformer for accurate amperage and wattage calculations.
Streamlined Installation in Standard Panel Cutouts
Designed with system integrators and DIY installers in mind, the meter utilizes a standard circular threaded mounting barrel and a large-diameter polymer locking nut. This design ensures a secure, vibration-resistant fit in standard dashboard or switchboard cutouts without the need for specialized rectangular routing. Front-panel control buttons provide intuitive navigation through menus, alarm thresholds, and backlight settings, ensuring effortless operation once installed.
Ideal Applications
- Marine Shore Power & Generators: Monitor incoming marina power quality and onboard generator frequency stability.
- Caravans, RVs & Motorhomes: Keep track of total AC load to prevent tripping campsite circuit breakers or overloading onboard inverters.
- Off-Grid Cabins & Tiny Homes: Manage inverter output and backup generator performance from a central control panel.
- Specialist Service Vehicles: Ensure stable 240V AC power delivery for mobile workshops and commercial equipment.
