Blue Sea C-Series Panel Plug Kit for Toggle Circuit Breakers
Blue Sea C-Series Panel Plug Kit for Toggle Circuit Breakers
3.2mm 5052 Alloy Aluminium - Slate Grey Finish with Mounting Hardware

DESCRIPTION
Seamless Blanking Solution for Custom AC and DC Electrical Panels
Managing spare capacity or reconfiguring a marine, RV, or off-grid electrical switchboard requires components that maintain the structural and visual integrity of your installation. This purpose-built blanking plug kit is engineered specifically to occupy unused C-Series toggle circuit breaker apertures in Blue Sea Systems power distribution panels. Instead of leaving hazardous open slots or relying on makeshift covers, this kit provides a factory-grade seal that protects internal panel wiring while maintaining a clean, uniform aesthetic across your dash or electrical cabinet.
Marine-Grade 5052 Alloy Aluminium Construction
Constructed from heavy 1/8-inch (approx. 3.2mm) 5052 alloy aluminium, this panel plug matches the exact material specifications of Blue Sea Systems distribution panels. The 5052 marine-grade alloy offers exceptional corrosion resistance, making it highly reliable in high-humidity, salt-air, and high-vibration environments common to marine vessels and 4WD canopy setups. The plug is coated in a durable two-part polyurethane slate grey finish, ensuring colour consistency and resistance to scratches, UV exposure, and chemical degradation over time.
Risk Reduction and Panel Safety
Leaving vacant circuit breaker cutouts exposed in an active AC or DC distribution panel introduces significant operational risks. Open slots allow dust, moisture, and conductive debris to enter the rear of the panel, increasing the likelihood of short circuits or premature corrosion on busbars and terminals. More importantly, exposed cutouts create a direct safety hazard by leaving live rear connections accessible to accidental contact. Installing a dedicated aluminium blanking plug eliminates these vulnerabilities, preserving the enclosure's protective barrier until you are ready to expand your electrical system with an additional circuit breaker.
Integrated Mounting and Accessory Compatibility
Designed for straightforward installation and future adaptability, the plug features pre-installed brass threaded inserts that ensure secure mechanical fastening without stripping. The kit comes complete with two black Phillips head mounting screws, a secondary plastic retention push pin, and a textured adhesive cover that conceals the screw heads to seamlessly match the surrounding panel face. Furthermore, the plug is fully compatible with standard Blue Sea Systems backlight labels and ON indication LEDs (labels and LEDs not included unless specified), allowing you to maintain a consistent labelling layout and visual grid even across inactive circuit positions.
