Blue Sea 300A Black Mini m-Series Dual Circuit+ Battery Switch
300A Continuous - Isolate Start & House - Emergency Combine Function

DESCRIPTION
Blue Sea m-Series 300A Dual Circuit Plus: Simplified Battery Management
The Blue Sea m-Series Dual Circuit Plus Battery Switch offers a sophisticated solution for managing dual battery banks in marine, caravan, and 4WD applications. Unlike standard selector switches, this unit simplifies the switching process by simultaneously connecting two isolated battery banks to their respective loads with a single ON position. Ideally suited for 12V and 24V systems (up to 32V DC max), it ensures your start battery remains reserved for engine cranking while your house battery powers onboard electronics.
Isolate Start and House Circuits Automatically
One of the primary risks in a dual battery setup is accidentally draining the starting battery by leaving a traditional selector switch in the "Both" position. The Dual Circuit Plus design eliminates this common error. When switched to ON, it mechanically connects the start battery to the engine circuit and the house battery to the distribution panel, yet keeps them electrically isolated. This ensures that voltage drops or heavy loads on the house circuit do not affect the starting battery, providing peace of mind when anchored or camped for extended periods.
Emergency Parallel Functionality
In the event of a flat starting battery, the switch features a COMBINE position. This effectively parallels both battery banks, allowing you to utilise the house battery to assist in starting the engine. This emergency cross-over capability is essential for safety at sea or in remote locations, ensuring you have a backup power source readily available without needing to use jumper leads.
Compact, Durable, and Safe Design
Designed for the harsh marine environment, the m-Series switches feature tinned copper studs for maximum conductivity and corrosion resistance. The 3/8"-16 (Approx. M10) stud terminals are designed to accept heavy-duty ring terminals and lugs up to 4/0 AWG (approx. 120mm²). The compact footprint makes it ideal for crowded dashboards or tight electrical lockers where space is at a premium.
Furthermore, the make-before-break contact design ensures seamless switching between battery banks without interrupting power to sensitive electronics, such as GPS units, engine ECUs, or audio systems. The switch is also ignition protected, making it safe for installation on petrol-powered boats.
