Blue Sea A&C Series Circuit Breaker Enclosure
Blue Sea A&C Series Circuit Breaker Enclosure
Surface-Mount Housing for Single & Double-Pole Toggle/Rocker Breakers

DESCRIPTION
Dedicated Surface-Mount Housing for Electrical Protection
Managing power distribution in marine, caravan, and off-grid setups often requires adding circuit protection where flush-mounting is simply not feasible. The Blue Sea A&C Series Circuit Breaker Enclosure (BS-3131B) solves this installation challenge by providing a dedicated, robust surface-mount housing. Designed to accommodate both single-pole and double-pole configurations, this enclosure protects your vital electrical connections from accidental contact and mechanical damage without requiring complex panel cutouts.
Engineered for Versatility and Clean Installations
When expanding an existing 12V, 24V, or AC electrical system, finding a clean way to mount additional circuit breakers is essential for safety and compliance. Unlike standard junction boxes that require custom fabrication and drilling, this purpose-built enclosure features precision-moulded apertures ready for immediate integration. It seamlessly accepts Blue Sea Systems A-Series toggle circuit breakers, as well as A-Series and C-Series Flat Rocker circuit breakers.
To ensure your electrical system remains organised and easy to troubleshoot, the housing incorporates dedicated recesses for square-format circuit identification labels. Additionally, it features integrated mounting ports for optional system status indicator LEDs, allowing you to visually monitor live circuits at a glance. Please note that circuit breakers, indicator LEDs, and square-format labels are not included and must be sourced separately to suit your specific wiring requirements.
Key Features and Benefits
- Versatile Breaker Compatibility: Precision-moulded aperture accommodates single-pole or double-pole A-Series toggle, A-Series Flat Rocker, and C-Series Flat Rocker circuit breakers.
- External Surface Mounting Feet: Integrated mounting tabs allow you to securely fasten the unit to bulkheads, walls, or cabinetry without needing to open the enclosure or drill through the internal housing.
- Complete Hardware Kit: Supplied with wire glands to provide strain relief and protect cable entry points, alongside corrosion-resistant stainless steel fasteners suited for harsh marine and outdoor environments.
- Customisable System Monitoring: Built-in recesses and ports support optional square-format identification labels and status LEDs for a professional, factory-grade finish.
- Enhanced Electrical Safety: Fully encloses rear terminals and live wiring, significantly reducing the risk of short circuits caused by loose gear in storage lockers or utility spaces.
Ideal Applications
Whether you are retrofitting a high-amperage circuit into a boat, upgrading a caravan battery management system, or installing auxiliary equipment in a service vehicle, this enclosure delivers a tidy, professional result. It is particularly useful for isolating main battery switches, windlasses, inverters, or DC-to-DC chargers in tight locker spaces where rear panel access is restricted.
Upgrade Your Circuit Protection Setup
Ensure your auxiliary wiring and high-draw appliances are safely housed and easily accessible. Pair this surface-mount enclosure with your choice of compatible Blue Sea Systems A-Series or C-Series circuit breakers to build a safer, more reliable power distribution system today.
