Blue Sea 65A 2-Circuit Terminal Block
Blue Sea 65A 2-Circuit Terminal Block
Closed-Back Insulated Base with High Moulded Barriers & Isolated Poles

DESCRIPTION
Isolated Dual-Circuit Power Distribution for High-Current Systems
Managing multiple electrical feeds in confined spaces requires hardware that prioritises circuit isolation and structural integrity. The Blue Sea 65A 2-Circuit Terminal Block is engineered for demanding automotive, marine, and off-grid power setups where clean, dependable wire termination is critical. Supporting a continuous 65A rating per circuit, this dual-pole terminal block allows installers to consolidate heavy-duty feeds or branch off secondary circuits without relying on overcrowded battery posts or sub-standard splicing methods.
Each screw pair forms a completely independent circuit, enabling you to run separate positive and negative feeds, or manage two distinct positive voltage lines within a single compact footprint. For system builders who require a unified bus arrangement, the block is compatible with terminal jumpers to bridge the two isolated poles into a common circuit configuration. Please note that jumper inclusion is not specified, and jumpers may need to be sourced separately depending on your layout requirements.
Engineered for Safety and Surface Protection
A frequent point of failure in standard electrical installations is unintended grounding or short-circuiting against conductive panels. This Blue Sea Systems component addresses this risk directly with a fully closed-back base. The insulated backing completely separates the conductive bus bars from the mounting surface, allowing safe installation directly onto aluminium boat hulls, steel vehicle chassis, or metallic electrical enclosures without the need for secondary insulating spacers.
Additionally, the housing incorporates high moulded protective barriers between each terminal pair. These physical dividers prevent accidental cross-contact between wire lugs, even when subjected to the constant vibration and movement typical of four-wheel driving, caravanning, and marine environments. Reinforced mounting points at either end of the block ensure the unit remains firmly anchored under mechanical stress.
Key Features and Benefits
- 65A Continuous Rating: Handles substantial current loads suitable for heavy-duty accessories, sub-panels, and dual-battery wiring harnesses.
- Two Isolated Circuits: Each screw pair operates independently, offering clean separation for distinct electrical paths or mixed-polarity terminations.
- Closed-Back Insulation: Eliminates the risk of power conduction to the mounting surface, enabling direct installation on metal panels and vehicle frames.
- High Moulded Barriers: Deep insulating walls between poles prevent lug rotation and accidental short circuits during installation or vibration.
- Flexible Configuration: Supports the use of jumper links to convert the two isolated poles into a single common distribution point when required.
- Reinforced Mounting Holes: Dedicated end-mounting points provide secure surface installation across vertical or horizontal planes.
Ideal Applications
Compared to basic uninsulated connector strips that are prone to corrosion and mechanical failure, the Blue Sea 2602B series is built to maintain low-resistance connections over time. It is widely utilised across Australian mobile and off-grid industries, including:
- Marine Electrical Systems: Terminating bilge pumps, navigation electronics, and cabin lighting feeds on alloy or fibreglass vessels.
- 4WD and Caravan Fit-Outs: Creating accessible junction points for canopy wiring, DC-DC charger outputs, or heavy-draw 12V and 24V appliances.
- Industrial and Off-Grid Enclosures: Organising control wiring, solar regulator feeds, and sensor arrays inside metal distribution cabinets.
Upgrade Your Wiring Architecture
Eliminate messy wiring looms and reduce the risk of electrical shorts in your next build. Add the Blue Sea 65A 2-Circuit Terminal Block to your toolkit for a safer, cleaner, and more professional power distribution setup.
