Blue Sea 60A ANL Fuse
Blue Sea 60A ANL Fuse
Silver-Plated Corrosion-Resistant Blades & Clear Blown-Fuse Window

DESCRIPTION
High-Conductivity 60A ANL Fuse for Marine, Caravan, and Off-Grid DC Circuits
Protecting high-current DC electrical systems requires components engineered for durability and consistent performance. The Blue Sea 60A ANL Fuse (BS-5123B) is designed to provide dependable overcurrent protection for main battery feeds, inverter lines, and heavy-duty branch circuits. Built specifically for use with standard ANL fuse blocks, this 60A fuse safeguards your valuable wiring and equipment against short circuits and sustained electrical overloads across 12V, 24V, and 48V setups.
Engineered for Harsh Environments
Moisture, salt air, and continuous vibration can quickly degrade inferior electrical components, leading to increased circuit resistance, voltage drop, and nuisance tripping. To prevent these issues, the Blue Sea 60A ANL Fuse features silver-plated connector blades. Silver plating offers superior electrical conductivity and exceptional corrosion resistance, ensuring a low-resistance connection that keeps heat generation to a minimum even under continuous load in coastal, marine, and off-road environments.
The fuse element is housed within a robust, fibre-reinforced mica-glass composite body. This specialised material provides reliable high-temperature insulation and structural integrity, containing the fuse element safely during an overcurrent event and reducing the risk of thermal damage to surrounding components.
Key Features and Benefits
- 60A Overcurrent Protection: Accurately rated to protect medium-to-heavy gauge DC wiring, DC-DC chargers, and auxiliary power systems.
- Silver-Plated Terminal Blades: Maximises conductivity and resists corrosion in humid, marine, and mobile applications.
- Clear Viewing Window: Features a transparent inspection port that provides an immediate visual indication of a blown fuse, simplifying system diagnostics.
- Heat-Resistant Composite Body: Constructed from fibre-reinforced mica-glass for superior thermal stability and durability.
- Slotted Mounting Terminals: Open-ended fork terminal design allows for straightforward installation and quick replacement in standard ANL fuse blocks without needing to fully remove the mounting nuts.
Streamlined Maintenance and Diagnostics
Troubleshooting a power outage in a tight battery compartment or canopy can be time-consuming. This ANL fuse incorporates a transparent viewing window directly over the fuse link. Technicians and system owners can verify the status of the circuit at a glance without needing a multimeter to test for continuity. When a replacement is required, the slotted terminal blades allow you to loosen the fuse block studs slightly and slide the fuse out, saving time and preventing lost hardware in awkward installation spaces.
Common Applications
Whether you are building a dual-battery system in a 4WD, wiring a caravan power distribution board, or upgrading a marine electrical panel, the Blue Sea 60A ANL Fuse delivers professional-grade circuit protection. It is commonly utilised for:
- Protecting cabling between auxiliary batteries and DC distribution hubs
- Safeguarding high-output DC-DC battery chargers and solar charge controllers
- Main circuit protection for small-to-medium power inverters
- Heavy-duty marine accessories, windlasses, and hydraulic pumps
- Automotive, RV, and off-grid solar battery banks
Secure Your DC Electrical System
Ensure your wiring and appliances are protected against electrical faults with industry-standard components. Add the Blue Sea 60A ANL Fuse to your setup today for reliable, corrosion-resistant circuit protection in your caravan, boat, or 4WD.
