Blue Sea 50A AC C-Series Triple-Pole Flat Rocker Circuit Breaker
Blue Sea 50A AC C-Series Triple-Pole Flat Rocker Circuit Breaker
Trip-Free Overcurrent Protection & Flush-Mount Manual Disconnect

DESCRIPTION
Integrated Manual Switching and Overcurrent Protection for Heavy-Duty Systems
The Blue Sea C-Series 50A AC Triple-Pole Flat Rocker Circuit Breaker is engineered to simplify complex electrical installations by combining manual ON/OFF switching and reliable overcurrent protection into a single, compact device. Designed for demanding marine, RV, and off-grid power architectures, this triple-pole unit features three mechanically linked poles that allow for the simultaneous switching and protection of multi-phase circuits or combined AC lines.
By eliminating the need for a separate switch and fuse block, this C-Series breaker saves valuable panel space, reduces wiring complexity, and minimises potential failure points in high-amperage applications such as inverters, bow thrusters, and windlasses.
Ergonomic Flat Rocker Design for Enhanced Safety
In mobile and marine environments where movement and vibration are constant, accidental switching of critical equipment is a genuine risk. The C-Series addresses this with a specialised flat rocker actuator that sits completely flush with the mounting bezel when in the ON position. This low-profile contour prevents unintentional actuation caused by brushing past the distribution panel or snagging gear in tight quarters.
Visual confirmation of your system status is straightforward. The colour-coded actuator clearly exposes the OFF position, allowing operators to verify circuit isolation at a glance before performing maintenance or leaving a vessel unattended.
Key Features and Technical Advantages
- Dual-Function Operation: Combines heavy-duty manual circuit switching with precision overcurrent protection in one streamlined unit.
- Trip-Free Mechanism: Internal safety engineering ensures the breaker cannot be manually held closed during an active fault or overcurrent event, protecting wiring and connected appliances from thermal damage.
- Flush ON Actuator: Sits flat when engaged to eliminate the risk of accidental switching in high-traffic areas.
- Simultaneous Triple-Pole Switching: Three mechanically linked poles disconnect all connected lines at once, making it suitable for multi-wire AC systems and heavy loads.
- Robust Terminal Architecture: Equipped with heavy-duty rear screw terminals for secure high-current cable connections, while paralleled poles feature a 5/16" (Approx. M8 or 8mm) stud on the bus.
- Secure Panel Mounting: Integrated brass threaded inserts provide reliable, vibration-resistant front-panel installation.
Engineered to Mitigate Electrical Risks
Standard residential or automotive switches often lack the mechanical durability required for harsh marine and off-grid environments. The Blue Sea C-Series reduces the risk of electrical fires and equipment failure through its internal trip-free design. If a short circuit or overload occurs on an inverter or windlass circuit, the breaker will trip immediately, even if an operator is physically holding the rocker in the ON position. This ensures faults must be properly cleared before power can be restored.
Versatile High-Current Applications
Whether you are upgrading a commercial vessel switchboard, fitting out an expedition vehicle, or building a custom off-grid power cabinet, this 50A triple-pole breaker delivers professional-grade circuit management. It is commonly deployed as a main AC disconnect, an inverter output protector, or a dedicated controller for high-draw mechanical equipment.
Upgrade your electrical distribution panel with the Blue Sea C-Series 50A Triple-Pole Flat Rocker Circuit Breaker for safe, consolidated switching and dependable overcurrent protection across your critical systems.
