Blue Sea 4-Circuit Battery Terminal Fuse Block
Blue Sea 4-Circuit Battery Terminal Fuse Block
Stud Mount Tin-Plated Copper Bus for ATO/ATC Fuses with Clear Cover

DESCRIPTION
Direct-to-Battery Circuit Protection for Compact Electrical Systems
Managing multiple power take-offs directly from a battery post often leads to a hazardous ''birds nest'' of inline fuse holders and stacked ring terminals. The Blue Sea 4-Circuit Battery Terminal Fuse Block solves this issue by mounting directly onto the battery terminal stud, consolidating four independent fused connections into a single, streamlined unit. This design eliminates the need to find a separate mounting surface for an auxiliary fuse box and removes the requirement for a secondary feeder cable, making it an exceptional solution for tight battery compartments in 4WDs, boats, caravans, and commercial vehicles.
Engineered for Conductivity and Harsh Environments
Unlike standard automotive blocks that can suffer from voltage drop and corrosion over time, this terminal fuse block is built around a robust tin-plated copper busbar. Copper provides superior electrical conductivity, while the tin plating offers critical resistance against oxidation and corrosion. This makes the unit highly reliable for marine applications and off-road environments where moisture, salt spray, and humidity are constant factors.
To ensure secure and vibration-resistant wiring, the block utilises individual screw terminals rather than push-on spade connectors. It comes supplied with four nylon-insulated ring terminals to get your installation started immediately, ensuring your accessory loads stay firmly connected even when travelling over corrugated tracks or rough seas.
Key Features and Benefits
- Direct Battery Stud Mounting: Attaches straight to the battery post stud, saving valuable installation space and reducing wiring complexity.
- Tin-Plated Copper Bus: Delivers high conductivity and corrosion resistance for long-term reliability in marine and automotive setups.
- Standard ATO/ATC Fuse Compatibility: Accepts widely available standard blade fuses (sold separately) for straightforward maintenance and field replacements.
- Clear Insulating Cover: Protects exposed conductive parts from accidental short circuits caused by dropped tools or shifting gear, while allowing quick visual inspection of fuses.
- Integrated Circuit Identification: Features dedicated recesses in the cover for Blue Sea Small Format Circuit Labels, making fault-finding and system maintenance simple.
- Ready for Installation: Includes four nylon-insulated ring terminals to suit the integrated screw terminals for a secure mechanical connection.
Enhanced Safety and Risk Reduction
Placing circuit protection as close to the power source as possible is a fundamental rule of safe DC electrical design. By mounting directly to the battery stud, this fuse block minimises the length of unfused wire, significantly reducing the risk of catastrophic short circuits and electrical fires. The included snap-on clear insulating cover shields the live busbar and terminals from accidental contact with metal battery trays, tools, or adjacent cabling, helping your installation meet strict marine and automotive safety standards.
Ideal Applications
Whether you are wiring a dual-battery system in a touring 4WD, setting up a cranking battery on a trailer boat, or adding continuous loads that bypass a main battery switch, this 4-circuit block provides a clean, professional finish. It is particularly useful for powering constant-draw devices such as bilgefloat switches, stereo memory, GPS trackers, fridge outlets, or solar regulator inputs directly from the battery.
