Blue Sea 360 Panel Rocker Switch Adapter
Blue Sea 360 Panel Rocker Switch Adapter
Converts Circuit Breaker Cutouts for Modular Switch Installations

DESCRIPTION
Seamless Circuit Breaker Aperture Conversion for Modular 360 Panels
Customising a marine, caravan, or off-grid electrical distribution system requires components that integrate cleanly without compromising structural integrity. This specialised mounting adapter allows you to install compatible 360 Panel rocker switches directly into the standard circuit breaker apertures of a Blue Sea Systems 360 Panel. By bridging the dimensional difference between standard breaker cutouts and rocker switch bodies, it provides a clean, factory-grade finish for custom electrical layouts.
Engineered for Precision and System Flexibility
The Blue Sea Systems 360 Panel series is widely recognised for its modular architecture, allowing system builders and marine electricians to configure AC and DC distribution panels to exact operational requirements. However, when a specific layout calls for manual switching rather than circuit protection in a designated slot, standard panel cutouts can limit your options. Attempting to fit a rocker switch into an unadapted circuit breaker opening often results in loose fitment, unsightly gaps, or the need for imprecise manual modifications.
This purpose-built adapter solves alignment and sizing challenges by converting the existing circuit breaker aperture into a precise housing for compatible 360 Panel rocker switches. It eliminates the risks associated with makeshift mounting brackets, ensuring that switches remain firmly seated even in high-vibration environments such as marine vessels, 4WD canopies, and off-road camper trailers.
Key Features and Benefits
- Direct Aperture Conversion: Specifically designed to adapt standard 360 Panel circuit breaker cutouts to accept compatible 360 Panel rocker switches.
- Secure Two-Point Mounting: Utilises top and bottom Phillips head mounting screws to lock the adapter firmly into the panel face, preventing movement during switch actuation.
- Uniform Aesthetic: Matches the matte black finish and profile of the 360 Panel system, maintaining a professional, cohesive look across your dashboard or electrical cabinet.
- Simplified Retrofitting: Enables straightforward panel upgrades and circuit reconfigurations without needing to replace the entire panel frame or manufacture custom fascia plates.
- Vibration-Resistant Fitment: Engineered to tight tolerances to ensure switches do not rattle or work loose when subjected to rough seas or corrugated tracks.
Ideal Applications for Custom Electrical Layouts
Whether you are commissioning a new vessel, fitting out an expedition vehicle, or upgrading an existing 12V or 24V auxiliary power system, maintaining a logical and accessible switchboard is essential for safe operation. This adapter is particularly valuable when integrating specialized switching functions—such as momentary switches, dual-throw transfers, or dedicated lighting controls—directly alongside your primary circuit breakers.
By utilising genuine modular accessories, installers can avoid the common pitfalls of mismatched switch gear, such as uneven bezel heights or fragile mounting tabs. The precision-moulded construction ensures that once the adapter is secured via its upper and lower screw points, the rocker switch snaps into place with positive retention.
