Blue Sea 360 Blank Panel
Blue Sea 360 Blank Panel
Textured Matte Black Modular Filler Plate for Custom Cutouts & Labels

DESCRIPTION
Customisable Modular Filler Plate for 360 Panel Electrical Distribution Systems
Maintaining a clean, organised, and secure electrical switchboard is essential in demanding marine, caravan, and off-grid environments. The Blue Sea Systems 1518 Panel 360 Blank module provides a seamless, factory-grade solution for covering unused frame apertures or mounting bespoke monitoring accessories. Engineered specifically for the modular 360 Panel System, this blank insert allows system builders and installers to future-proof their electrical layouts while maintaining complete enclosure integrity.
Tailored for Custom Accessories and Pad Printing
Not every electrical component conforms to a standard factory switch or circuit breaker cutout. This blank module serves as an adaptable canvas for custom installations. Its flat, sturdy surface is ideal for drilling or routing bespoke cutouts to house specialised gauges, warning lights, USB chargers, or third-party controllers. Furthermore, the textured matte black finish is specifically formulated to accept user pad printing and custom engraving, allowing OEMs, marine electricians, and DIY builders to create clear, permanent, and professional labelling across their control panels.
Key Features and System Benefits
- Modular System Compatibility: Designed to integrate directly into Blue Sea Systems 360 Panel frames for a uniform, flush-mounted appearance.
- Customisation Ready: Provides a solid mounting surface suitable for drilling custom accessory apertures or applying user pad printing.
- Enhanced Electrical Safety: Effectively blanks off unused panel positions, preventing accidental contact with live rear busbars and wiring.
- Debris and Moisture Mitigation: Seals open frame slots to reduce the ingress of dust, conductive debris, and ambient moisture into the rear of the console.
- Integrated Label Recess: Features a dedicated top recess to accommodate standard system labels, keeping your switchboard layout consistent and easy to read.
Superior Finish Over Standard Alternatives
When expanding or modifying an electrical distribution board, using makeshift covers or poorly fitting plates can compromise both the aesthetics and the safety of the installation. Standard plastic covers often warp under high cabin temperatures, degrade under UV exposure, or fail to sit flush with surrounding modules. The 1518 blank insert matches the exact profile and durable, textured matte black finish of the broader 360 Panel range. This ensures structural rigidity and visual continuity across your entire dashboard or electrical cabinet, whether installed in a commercial vessel, 4WD canopy, or off-grid power wall.
Applications and Future-Proofing
Planning for future expansion is a hallmark of smart electrical design. By installing a larger 360 Panel frame than immediately required and populating the spare slots with blank modules, you eliminate the need to cut into your console or cabinetry later. When it is time to add new 12V or 24V circuits, solar monitoring gear, or tank level indicators, simply swap out the blank module for the required functional insert or modify the blank plate itself.
Select the Panel 360 Blank module today to complete your modular switchboard layout with a clean, safe, and professional finish.
