Blue Sea 32A A-Series Double Pole Toggle Circuit Breaker White
Blue Sea 32A A-Series Double Pole Toggle Circuit Breaker White
Magnetic Hydraulic Trip-Free Design for Simultaneous Circuit Isolation

DESCRIPTION
Combined Circuit Switching and Overcurrent Protection for Electrical Panels
The Blue Sea A-Series 32A Double-Pole Toggle Circuit Breaker combines reliable circuit switching and overcurrent protection into a single, compact device. Engineered as the standard circuit breaker for Blue Sea Systems electrical panels, this unit streamlines your power distribution setup by eliminating the need for separate switches and fuse holders. Whether you are outfitting a marine vessel, caravan, or off-grid power system, the A-Series provides dependable management of critical electrical loads.
Advanced Magnetic Hydraulic Technology
Unlike standard thermal breakers that rely on heat-sensitive bimetallic strips, this A-Series breaker utilises a precision magnetic hydraulic mechanism. Standard thermal alternatives can suffer from nuisance tripping when ambient temperatures rise in enclosed engine bays, power canopies, or unventilated electrical cabinets. Because a magnetic hydraulic breaker only responds to actual current flow rather than ambient heat, it maintains a consistent 32A trip profile across varied Australian environmental conditions.
Enhanced Safety with Double-Pole Isolation and Trip-Free Design
Featuring joined white toggle handles, this double-pole breaker allows for simultaneous switching and isolation of two conductors. In AC main panels, this is critical for breaking both active and neutral lines simultaneously to ensure complete circuit isolation during maintenance or fault events. In DC applications, it can be deployed to isolate both positive and negative paths simultaneously where full bipolar disconnection is required.
To further reduce operational risks, the internal mechanism features a trip-free design. If a short circuit or dangerous overload occurs, the breaker will trip internally even if the toggle actuator is physically held or wedged in the ON position. This prevents operators from accidentally overriding the safety mechanism before the underlying electrical fault is resolved.
Key Features and Benefits
- Combined Functionality: Integrates manual circuit switching and automatic overcurrent protection into one panel-mounted component.
- Magnetic Hydraulic Operation: Delivers reliable, temperature-stable trip performance without derating in hot enclosures.
- Double-Pole Joined Toggle: Ensures simultaneous disconnection of both poles via a mechanically linked white actuator.
- Trip-Free Safety Mechanism: Cannot be manually held closed during an active fault current condition, protecting wiring and equipment from damage.
- Secure Panel Mounting: Built with threaded brass inserts on the faceplate for durable, vibration-resistant installation in mobile and marine switchboards.
- Clear Amperage Identification: Features a distinctly marked 32A rating on the toggle face for rapid visual verification during system inspections.
Built for Marine, RV, and Off-Grid Distribution Panels
Electrical systems in boats, 4WDs, and off-grid cabins demand components that withstand constant vibration and frequent cycling. The robust black housing and brass mounting inserts ensure this breaker remains firmly seated within custom switchboards or modular Blue Sea Systems panels. By upgrading to a dedicated magnetic hydraulic breaker, you reduce the risk of electrical fires, equipment damage, and frustrating false trips caused by inferior protection devices.
Upgrade Your Electrical Panel Protection
Select the Blue Sea A-Series 32A Double-Pole Toggle Circuit Breaker to achieve professional-grade circuit isolation and overcurrent safety in your marine, caravan, or off-grid power distribution system.
