Blue Sea 30A 6-Circuit Terminal Block
Blue Sea 30A 6-Circuit Terminal Block
Closed-Back Phenolic Base & High Dividers for Isolated Wiring
DESCRIPTION
Organised Power Distribution with Complete Surface Isolation
Managing multiple electrical feeds in confined spaces requires a reliable, secure connection point. The Blue Sea 30A 6-Circuit Terminal Block is engineered to simplify complex wiring harnesses in marine, automotive, caravan, and industrial applications. By providing six independent, isolated circuits within a single compact footprint, this terminal block eliminates messy wiring splices and creates a clean, serviceable point for circuit branching, troubleshooting, and upgrades.
Unlike standard open-base connectors that expose conductive parts to the underlying structure, this unit features a fully closed-back design. The solid phenolic base completely insulates the live electrical connections from the mounting surface, allowing safe installation directly onto aluminium boat hulls, vehicle chassis, or steel electrical enclosures without the risk of ground faults or short circuits.
Engineered for Safety and Electrical Integrity
Inferior connector strips often suffer from brittle plastics that crack under thermal stress or shallow dividers that allow ring terminals to twist and touch. The Blue Sea Systems 2500 Series is built to withstand harsh operating environments. High-profile moulded insulating barriers physically separate each of the twelve screw terminals, significantly reducing the risk of accidental arcing or frayed wire strands bridging across adjacent poles.
- Closed-Back Phenolic Base: Completely isolates electrical power from metal panels, fibreglass, and conductive mounting surfaces.
- Six Isolated Screw-Pair Circuits: Each terminal pair operates as an independent pass-through circuit for streamlined point-to-point wiring.
- High Insulating Barriers: Deep moulded dividers prevent terminal rotation and protect against accidental short circuits between neighbouring connections.
- Durable Terminal Hardware: Equipped with corrosion-resistant, zinc-plated steel screws designed to maintain clamping force under vibration for loads up to 30A.
- Flexible Bus Configuration: Compatible with Blue Sea Systems terminal block jumpers, allowing adjacent poles to be linked to create common positive or negative distribution buses.
- Integrated Mounting Ends: Pre-drilled mounting holes at either end allow for straightforward, secure fastening to flat panels and bulkheads.
Versatile Configuration for 12V, 24V, and AC/DC Systems
Whether you are fitting out a 4WD canopy, rewiring a marine helm station, or assembling an off-grid control board, this 6-circuit terminal block adapts to your system architecture. Each screw pair functions as an isolated junction, making it ideal for extending sensor leads, connecting lighting relays, or terminating dashboard switches. When a project requires multiple accessories to share a single power or ground feed, optional slip-on jumpers can be installed across the screw terminals to convert individual pairs into a customised common busbar.
Streamline your electrical fit-out and protect your system against wiring faults by adding the Blue Sea 30A 6-Circuit Terminal Block to your installation toolkit today.
