Blue Sea 300A ANL Fuse
Blue Sea 300A ANL Fuse
Tin-Plated Copper Terminals & Clear Inspection Window (Fuse Only)

DESCRIPTION
High-Capacity 300A DC Circuit Protection for Marine and Off-Grid Power Systems
The Blue Sea 300A ANL Fuse provides critical overcurrent protection for high-amperage DC electrical systems. Designed specifically for integration into heavy-duty battery banks, large inverters, and high-draw auxiliary circuits, this 300A fuse acts as a reliable safeguard against short circuits and severe electrical overloads. Whether outfitting a commercial marine vessel, a dual-battery 4WD canopy, or a standalone off-grid solar installation, selecting precision-engineered circuit protection is essential for preserving valuable electronics and preventing thermal hazards in high-current cabling.
Please note: This listing is for the individual replacement ANL fuse component only. An appropriate ANL fuse block or holder is required for installation and is sold separately.
Engineered for Harsh Environments and High Conductivity
Inferior circuit protection components often suffer from high internal resistance, leading to nuisance tripping, voltage drop, and premature oxidation in damp conditions. Blue Sea Systems addresses these vulnerabilities by constructing the terminal forks from high-grade, tin-plated copper. This specialised plating resists corrosion in salt-spray marine environments and humid off-grid enclosures while maintaining optimal electrical conductivity across the connection points.
Encased in a durable, heat-resistant insulating body, this heavy-duty ANL fuse safely contains the internal element under heavy electrical loads. It also features a integrated clear inspection window, allowing technicians and system owners to perform an instant visual check of the fuse status without disassembling the fuse holder or testing with a multimeter.
Key Features and Technical Benefits
- 300A Continuous Rating: Tailored for high-demand DC circuits, including high-output inverters, windlasses, bow thrusters, and primary battery bank interconnects.
- Tin-Plated Copper Terminals: Delivers superior conductivity, minimises voltage drop, and actively resists galvanic and atmospheric corrosion.
- Visual Blown Condition Indicator: The transparent inspection window provides immediate visual confirmation if the internal fuse link has ruptured.
- Heat-Resistant Insulating Housing: Robust construction engineered to withstand the thermal stresses associated with high-current DC circuit protection.
- Standard ANL Footprint: Designed for straightforward drop-in compatibility with Blue Sea Systems ANL fuse blocks and industry-standard ANL holders.
Why Upgrade to Blue Sea Systems Circuit Protection?
In high-amperage 12V, 24V, and 48V DC architectures, the integrity of your circuit protection is paramount. Substandard fuses can introduce dangerous resistance into a circuit, generating excess heat that may melt fuse blocks or damage cable insulation before the fuse actually blows. By utilising the Blue Sea 5133B, installers mitigate the risk of poor contact and unpredictable trip curves. The precision-stamped fork terminals ensure a flat, secure seating against fuse block studs, maintaining consistent clamping pressure and reliable electrical transfer over the lifespan of the installation.
Typical Applications
- Primary overcurrent protection for large DC-to-AC power inverters
- Main battery bank fusing in caravans, motorhomes, and camper trailers
- High-draw marine equipment such as anchor winches and thrusters
- High-output alternator charge lines and DC-to-DC charging networks
- Off-grid solar energy storage and lithium battery combiner systems
