Blue Sea 230VAC 8A 13 Position Panel
Pre-Wired 100A Max Bus with 10x 8A Breakers, 3 Spare Slots & Backlit

DESCRIPTION
13-Position 230V AC Distribution Panel for Marine and Off-Grid Power Systems
Managing high-voltage alternating current in mobile, marine, or remote off-grid environments requires uncompromising safety and precision. This 13-position 230V AC distribution panel provides a centralised, professional-grade command centre for your onboard or off-grid electrical system. Engineered by Blue Sea Systems, this traditional metal panel streamlines complex AC wiring while delivering dependable circuit protection and intuitive operation for vessels, caravans, motorhomes, and specialised service vehicles.
Streamlined Installation with Pre-Wired Buses
Electrical fit-outs in confined spaces such as boat helms or caravan service bays can be time-consuming and prone to wiring errors when assembling components individually. This AC distribution panel eliminates that complexity by arriving with all hot, neutral, and safety ground buses factory-installed and fully pre-wired. Installers and system builders can integrate the unit directly into their 230V AC main feed, significantly reducing labour time and mitigating the risk of loose connections, voltage drop, or hazardous wiring faults.
Comprehensive Circuit Protection and Future Expansion
Designed to handle a total maximum panel capacity of 100A, this unit is built to manage substantial AC loads safely. Out of the box, the panel is populated with ten A-Series white toggle single-pole 8A magnetic circuit breakers. These precision breakers combine switching and circuit protection into a single device, featuring a 'trip-free' design that cannot be held in the 'ON' position during a fault condition. For systems that evolve over time, the panel includes three unpopulated spare positions, allowing you to easily add extra branch circuit breakers as you integrate new 230V appliances or equipment into your setup.
Key Features and Benefits
- Factory Pre-Wired Architecture: All hot, neutral, and safety ground buses are pre-installed to simplify integration and ensure high electrical integrity.
- Ready-to-Use Protection: Supplied with ten pre-installed 8A single-pole magnetic toggle circuit breakers for immediate branch circuit management.
- Built-In Expansion Capacity: Features three spare circuit positions to accommodate additional breakers for future electrical upgrades.
- Integrated Low-Light Visibility: All 13 circuit label positions feature standard backlighting without the need for an external conversion kit.
- Visual Status Monitoring: Equipped with green 'ON' indicating LEDs across all 13 positions for immediate confirmation of active circuits at a glance.
- Customisable Identification: Includes a 30-piece basic AC label set to clearly mark appliances, inverters, and shore power circuits.
Engineered for Visibility and Harsh Environments
Operating an electrical system in low-light conditions, such as a darkened wheelhouse or an off-grid cabin at night, demands clear visual feedback. Every circuit position on this panel is equipped with a green 230V AC LED indicator, showing you exactly which branch circuits are live. Furthermore, all label positions are backlit as standard, removing the hassle and expense of purchasing separate backlighting kits. Paired with a corrosion-resistant finish designed to withstand damp coastal air and road vibrations, this panel reduces the risk of electrical failure in demanding Australian conditions.
Ideal Applications
- Marine Vessels: Manage shore power distribution, onboard generators, water heaters, and galley appliances on yachts, cruisers, and commercial boats.
- Caravans and Motorhomes: Control 230V AC outputs from large off-grid inverters or mains hook-ups for air conditioning, induction cooktops, and power outlets.
- Mobile Workstations and Tiny Homes: Provide safe, residential-grade circuit distribution and overload protection in compact, transportable structures.
