Blue Sea 16-position 230V AC distribution panel with 8A breakers and green indicator LEDs

Blue Sea 230VAC 100A 16 Position Circuit Breaker Panel with 10 x 8A Breakers

DESCRIPTION

High-Capacity 230V AC Electrical Distribution for Marine and Off-Grid Systems

Managing high-voltage alternating current in mobile, marine, or remote off-grid environments demands uncompromising safety and precision. The Blue Sea Systems 16-position 230V AC distribution panel is engineered to serve as a central hub for complex electrical architectures. Designed specifically for 230V AC 50Hz electrical systems, this panel provides both circuit protection and intuitive switching in one cohesive unit. Unlike basic aftermarket alternatives that require tedious manual busbar wiring, this unit arrives with all hot, neutral, and safety ground buses fully installed and pre-wired, significantly reducing installation time and mitigating the risk of wiring errors.

Key Features and System Benefits

  • Pre-Wired Bus Architecture: Factory-installed hot, neutral, and safety ground buses streamline integration and ensure secure, low-resistance electrical pathways.
  • High Current Capacity: Supports a maximum panel amperage of 100A, making it suitable for demanding power systems running multiple high-draw appliances.
  • Integrated Circuit Protection: Supplied with ten single-pole 8A A-Series white toggle circuit breakers installed, leaving six blank, plugged positions ready for future expansion.
  • Enhanced Visibility: All 16 circuit positions feature built-in green "ON" indicator LEDs and integrated label backlighting without requiring additional kits.
  • Customisable Identification: Includes a 30-piece basic AC label set to clearly mark connected appliances and loads.

Engineered for Safety and Future Expansion

In marine vessels, commercial vehicles, and off-grid cabins, lighting conditions are often suboptimal. This distribution panel solves visibility challenges by incorporating standard backlighting across all circuit label positions. Paired with bright green 230V AC LED indicators, operators can verify active circuits at a glance, preventing accidental power disconnects or unmonitored drains. The inclusion of A-Series hydraulic-magnetic circuit breakers ensures precise, reliable tripping characteristics that are not adversely affected by ambient temperature fluctuations, a common point of failure in standard thermal breakers.

While the panel accommodates up to 16 individual branch circuits, it is supplied with 10 pre-installed 8A single-pole breakers. The remaining 6 positions are fitted with blanking plugs, offering a clean aesthetic while preserving dedicated space for system upgrades. As your power needs evolve, you can easily populate these spare slots with additional breakers tailored to new appliances, such as water heaters, air conditioning units, or battery chargers.

Professional Installation and Durability

Constructed from heavy-duty, corrosion-resistant materials, this distribution unit is built to withstand the rigours of harsh marine environments and high-vibration mobile applications. The faceplate features countersunk mounting holes on the corners for a secure, flush, and professional finish on your bulkhead or control console. With a footprint of 7.50 in (190.5 mm) in height and 10.50 in (266.7 mm) in width, it offers a high density of circuit control within a manageable panel size.

Upgrade your AC electrical distribution with a pre-wired, expandable solution designed for professional-grade reliability. Add this 16-position distribution panel to your system build today for safe and organised power management.
