Blue Sea 200A C-Series Double-Pole Flat Rocker Circuit Breaker
Blue Sea 200A C-Series Double-Pole Flat Rocker Circuit Breaker
Trip-Free Overcurrent Protection for Inverters, Thrusters & Windlasses

DESCRIPTION
High-Amperage Switching and Overcurrent Protection for Heavy-Duty Systems
Managing high-current electrical loads in marine, off-grid, and commercial vehicle applications requires dependable overcurrent protection and secure switching. The Blue Sea C-Series 200A Double-Pole Flat Rocker Circuit Breaker integrates both manual on-off switching and automatic circuit protection into a single, robust unit. Engineered specifically to handle the heavy electrical demands of large power inverters, bow thrusters, and marine windlasses, this circuit breaker simplifies panel architecture while providing crucial safety for your primary DC wiring and equipment.
Engineered for Safety: Trip-Free Operation and Flush-Mount Design
In high-amperage DC systems, a short circuit or sustained overload can pose significant risks to cabling and connected appliances. This C-Series breaker features a critical trip-free design, meaning the internal mechanism cannot be manually held in the closed (ON) position while a fault condition persists. This prevents operators from accidentally overriding the safety mechanism during an electrical emergency, drastically reducing the risk of thermal damage or electrical fires compared to basic toggle switches or standard fuse setups.
Additionally, the ergonomic flat rocker actuator is designed to sit completely flush against the mounting bezel when in the ON position. In tight quarters like boat cabins, RV electrical bays, or 4WD canopies, protruding levers can easily be snagged by gear or bumped by passers-by. The flush profile eliminates accidental switching, ensuring your critical systems remain powered until you intentionally disengage them. When tripped or switched off, the actuator reveals a high-visibility coloured indicator, allowing for immediate visual diagnostics of your system's status.
Key Features and Benefits
- Combined Switching and Protection: Eliminates the need for a separate battery switch and inline fuse holder, saving valuable installation space and reducing potential points of resistance.
- Flush-Position Flat Rocker: Prevents inadvertent actuation in high-traffic or confined spaces while maintaining a clean, modern panel aesthetic.
- Trip-Free Safety Mechanism: Ensures the circuit automatically breaks during an overcurrent event, even if the actuator is physically held in the ON position.
- High-Current Terminations: For paralleled poles, the robust rear bus features a 5/16-inch (approx. M8) stud to accommodate heavy-duty cable lugs securely and minimise voltage drop.
- Clear Visual Indication: The contrasting coloured actuator clearly displays the OFF state for rapid troubleshooting in dimly lit electrical lockers.
- Integrated Mounting Inserts: Built-in threaded mounting holes allow for straightforward, secure panel installation.
Built for Demanding Marine and Off-Grid Applications
Unlike entry-level circuit protectors that may suffer from voltage drop, nuisance tripping, or premature mechanical failure under heavy loads, Blue Sea Systems components are industry-recognised for their reliability in harsh environments. The double-pole body design handles substantial 200A capacities with ease, providing a dependable disconnection point for maintenance or emergency shutdowns.
Whether you are wiring a high-output inverter in an off-grid caravan, upgrading the battery bank isolation in a cruising yacht, or installing a heavy-duty winch or thruster system, this circuit breaker delivers the mechanical and electrical integrity required for high-amperage DC circuits.
Upgrade Your Electrical System Protection
Ensure your high-draw appliances and primary battery cables are safely managed with professional-grade overcurrent protection. Add the Blue Sea C-Series 200A Double-Pole Flat Rocker Circuit Breaker to your setup today for streamlined switching and reliable system safety.
