Blue Sea DC distribution panel with 22 positions, dual analog meters and backlit circuit labels

Blue Sea 15A Main + 22-Position DC Distribution Panel with Volt/Ammeter

DESCRIPTION

Centralised DC Power Management and Real-Time System Monitoring

Managing complex electrical systems in marine vessels, motorhomes, and custom off-grid setups requires reliable circuit protection and organised power distribution. The Blue Sea Systems 22-Position DC Distribution Panel delivers a professional, centralised command centre for high-circuit-count installations. Featuring a primary master breaker alongside 22 individual branch circuit positions, this unit allows system builders to consolidate loads into a single, easily accessible location while maintaining strict electrical safety standards.

Unlike unbranded alternatives that require hours of tedious rear-panel link wiring, this distribution board arrives fully pre-wired from the factory. All positive, negative, and grounding buses are pre-installed, significantly reducing installation time and minimising the risk of loose connections, voltage drop, or wiring faults behind the dash.

Integrated Analog Metering for Up to Three Battery Banks

Keeping track of system health is straightforward thanks to the built-in analog voltmeter and ammeter. Rather than relying on external displays, operators can view real-time current draw and system voltage directly at the switchboard. A dedicated toggle switch next to the meters allows effortless monitoring across up to three separate battery banks, making it ideal for vessels and vehicles running isolated start, house, and auxiliary battery setups. For heavier commercial or specialized builds, the standard 12V analog meter is also owner-upgradable to 24V using compatible Blue Sea 18V to 32V DC meters (models 8240 or 8243).

Engineered for Low-Light Operation and Marine Durability

Operating a vessel at night or managing power inside a dimly lit caravan canopy demands clear visibility. This DC breaker panel incorporates integrated backlit circuit labels as standard, requiring no separate aftermarket lighting kits. Paired with individual orange ON-indicating LEDs across all 22 branch positions, you can verify active loads and identify switches at a glance in pitch-black conditions.

  • Factory Pre-Wired Architecture: Supplied with positive, negative, and grounding buses fully installed to streamline fit-out and improve connection reliability.
  • Multi-Bank Voltage Monitoring: Integrated toggle switch enables voltage checks across up to three independent battery banks via the analog voltmeter.
  • Real-Time Load Tracking: Dedicated analog ammeter displays total system current draw to help prevent overload events.
  • Low-Light Visibility: Backlit circuit label positions come pre-installed alongside individual ON-indicator LEDs for every branch circuit.
  • 24V System Adaptability: Analog metering can be upgraded by the owner to suit 24V DC electrical architectures using compatible 18V-32V meters.
  • Magnetic Hydraulic Breakers: Provides dependable circuit protection and manual switching in a single, robust mechanism.

Ideal Applications for 22-Position DC Switchboards

With 22 dedicated branch circuits and a master disconnect, this panel is purpose-built for expansive DC electrical systems where standard 6-way or 8-way switch panels fall short. It provides the capacity needed for:

  • Large cruising yachts, commercial workboats, and offshore fishing vessels managing navigation electronics, bilge pumps, lighting, and cabin appliances.
  • Expedition vehicles, fifth-wheelers, and large off-grid caravans with extensive 12V or 24V accessory loads.
  • Mobile command centres, service trucks, and custom off-grid cabin power distribution boards.

Upgrade Your Onboard Electrical Control

Eliminate cluttered wiring looms and fragmented switch panels with a unified, marine-grade distribution solution. Configure your onboard power system with the Blue Sea 22-position DC distribution panel today for safer, cleaner, and more intuitive circuit management.
