Blue Sea 15A C-Series Single-Pole Flat Rocker Circuit Breaker
Blue Sea 15A C-Series Single-Pole Flat Rocker Circuit Breaker
Trip-Free Overcurrent Protection, Manual Switching & 5/16" (M8) Studs

DESCRIPTION
Heavy-Duty Switching and Overcurrent Protection for Marine and Off-Grid Systems
The Blue Sea C-Series 15A Single-Pole Flat Rocker Circuit Breaker delivers reliable overcurrent protection and manual switching in a single, compact unit. Designed for demanding marine, RV, and off-grid electrical environments, this device eliminates the need to wire a separate switch and fuse holder. By integrating both functions, it streamlines your distribution panel layout, reduces potential failure points, and ensures critical onboard circuits remain safe from electrical overloads and short circuits.
Engineered for Safety: Trip-Free Operation and Flush Actuator
In mobile and marine environments, accidental switching can lead to unexpected equipment shutdowns or power loss to essential electronics. The C-Series flat rocker actuator is specifically engineered to sit completely flush with the mounting bezel when in the ON position. This low-profile design significantly reduces the risk of snagging gear or inadvertently bumping the switch off in tight helm stations, battery lockers, or caravan utility bays. When switched OFF or tripped, a recessed colour indicator clearly shows the circuit status at a glance.
For enhanced system safety, this 15A circuit breaker features a mechanical trip-free design. If an overcurrent fault occurs in your wiring or appliance, the internal mechanism will trip immediately and cannot be manually held closed against the fault. This critical safety feature protects your wiring harness and connected appliances from thermal damage while you diagnose the underlying electrical issue.
- Combined Switching and Protection: Acts as both a heavy-duty ON/OFF master switch and a precision 15A circuit breaker.
- Flush ON Rocker Profile: Prevents accidental actuation in high-traffic areas or cramped equipment lockers.
- Trip-Free Mechanism: Ensures the circuit cannot be forced to stay on during an active overload or short-circuit condition.
- Robust Terminal Hardware: Equipped with 5/16-inch (approx. M8) stud terminals on the bus to accommodate substantial ring terminals and ensure low-resistance connections.
- Secure Panel Mounting: Features integrated brass threaded inserts for reliable, vibration-resistant front panel installation.
- Visual Status Indication: Clear actuator positioning and colour marking provide immediate verification of the circuit state.
Reliable Performance Superior to Standard Alternatives
Standard automotive fuses and low-grade switches often struggle in harsh coastal or high-vibration off-grid environments, leading to voltage drop, nuisance tripping, or terminal corrosion. The Blue Sea C-Series is built to rigorous marine standards, utilising robust internal contacts and 5/16-inch (approx. M8) rear connection studs that provide superior clamping force compared to standard spade terminals. This makes it ideal for main branch circuits, small inverters, lighting arrays, and auxiliary control panels where dependable current flow and secure termination are mandatory.
Ideal Applications in Marine, RV, and Mobile Power
Whether you are building a custom switch panel for a boat, upgrading a 4WD dual-battery setup, or fitting out an off-grid camper trailer, this flat rocker breaker offers professional-grade circuit management. Its paralleled pole configuration and robust build quality suit a wide variety of electrical distribution tasks, including protecting dedicated feeds to navigation electronics, pumps, and control circuits for heavy loads like windlasses and bow thrusters.
