Blue Sea 15A 32-Position DC Distribution Panel with Meter
Blue Sea 15A 32-Position DC Distribution Panel with Meter
Pre-Wired Positive, Negative & Ground Buses with 3-Bank Battery Toggle

DESCRIPTION
Centralised 12V Power Management for Complex Marine and Off-Grid Systems
Managing large-scale DC electrical systems in marine vessels, motorhomes, and off-grid setups requires reliable circuit protection and clear system visibility. The Blue Sea Systems 32-Position DC Distribution Panel (BS-8381B) provides a comprehensive solution for organising and protecting extensive 12V wiring looms. Engineered for demanding environments, this panel comes fully pre-wired with positive, negative, and grounding buses already installed. This integrated design significantly reduces installation time, minimises the risk of wiring errors behind the dash, and eliminates the clutter associated with makeshift distribution setups.
Integrated Analogue System Monitoring
Keeping track of power consumption and battery health is critical when operating away from shore or grid power. This distribution panel features built-in analogue meters, including an 8-16V DC voltmeter and a 0-100A DC ammeter, giving you immediate visual feedback on your system's electrical status. An integrated toggle switch allows you to monitor the voltage across up to three separate battery banks from a single location, ensuring you can easily check your start, house, and auxiliary batteries without needing external gauges.
For users planning future system upgrades or operating higher-voltage architectures, the panel offers forward compatibility. The onboard analogue meters are owner-upgradable to 24V DC operation by substituting the standard gauges with compatible 18-32V DC meters (models 8240 or 8243, sold separately).
Key Features and Benefits
- Fully Pre-Wired Architecture: Factory-installed positive, negative, and grounding buses streamline integration into your main electrical cabinet.
- Comprehensive Circuit Protection: Equipped with 15A magnetic hydraulic circuit breakers and a dedicated red toggle master breaker for reliable main system isolation.
- Multi-Bank Monitoring: Built-in 8-16V voltmeter and 0-100A ammeter paired with a three-position toggle switch to monitor up to three independent battery banks.
- Low-Light Visibility: All circuit label positions are backlit as standard without requiring additional upgrade kits, making night-time operation straightforward.
- Immediate Status Confirmation: Individual "ON" indicator LEDs in every circuit position provide instant visual confirmation of active loads.
- 24V Upgrade Path: Supports owner upgrades for 24V DC systems using compatible 18-32V DC analogue meters (upgrade meters not included).
Designed for Operational Safety and Ease of Use
Operating a vessel at night or managing a dark equipment locker demands intuitive controls. Every circuit position on this Blue Sea panel includes factory-installed backlighting for the labels and dedicated "ON" indicator LEDs. This ensures you can identify and isolate specific appliances, lighting circuits, or navigation equipment at a glance, preventing accidental disconnection of critical loads.
By consolidating 32 circuits into a single, structured interface with magnetic hydraulic breakers, this panel mitigates the risks of overloaded wiring and voltage drop common in poorly terminated switchboards. Upgrade your vessel or off-grid vehicle's electrical architecture with the Blue Sea 32-Position DC Distribution Panel for dependable, centralised circuit control.
