Blue Sea 150A DualBus Plus 5-Terminal Busbar with 1/4-Inch Studs and Clear Polycarbonate Cover
Blue Sea 150A DualBus Plus 5-Terminal Busbar with 1/4-Inch Studs and Clear Polycarbonate Cover
Combined Pos/Neg DC Block with #8-32 Screws & ABYC Compliant Cover

DESCRIPTION
Consolidated Positive and Negative DC Power Distribution for Marine and Off-Grid Systems
The Blue Sea 150A DualBus Plus offers a streamlined, professional solution for complex DC wiring layouts. By combining both positive and negative buses onto a single, non-conductive block, this dual busbar significantly reduces your installation footprint and simplifies cable management. Whether you are outfitting a marine vessel, caravan, camper trailer, or 4WD canopy, consolidating your primary connections into one central hub eliminates the dangerous practice of stacking multiple ring terminals directly onto battery posts.
Engineered for High-Current Reliability and Safety
Designed to handle continuous loads up to 150A, this power distribution block accommodates both heavy-gauge main feed cables and smaller branch circuits with ease. Each side of the dual busbar features heavy-duty 1/4-inch (approx. M6) stainless steel studs for your primary positive and negative power feeds, alongside five #8-32 (approx. M4) stainless steel terminal screws per bus for individual accessory circuits. This separation ensures secure, low-resistance electrical connections that resist loosening from road and wave vibrations.
Unlike unbranded distribution blocks that leave live terminals exposed or rely on brittle plastics, the DualBus Plus includes a rugged, clear polycarbonate cover. This protective cover locks securely onto the base via tool-less yellow snap clips, allowing for rapid visual inspection of your connections while providing critical insulation that satisfies strict ABYC and US Coast Guard safety requirements.
Key Features & Benefits
- Dual Bus Configuration: Combines isolated positive and negative buses on one compact block to save space and organise wiring looms.
- 150A Continuous Rating: Provides ample current capacity for demanding 12V, 24V, and 48V DC electrical systems.
- Dedicated Main and Branch Terminals: Features 1/4-inch (approx. M6) studs for heavy-duty feed cables and five #8-32 (approx. M4) screws per bus for smaller accessory loads.
- ABYC & Coast Guard Compliant Cover: The clear polycarbonate cover prevents accidental short circuits from dropped tools or shifting gear while keeping terminals visible.
- Tool-Less Access: Secure yellow snap-on clips hold the insulating cover firmly in place in high-vibration environments, yet allow quick removal for system maintenance.
- Corrosion-Resistant Hardware: Stainless steel studs and screws ensure reliable mechanical clamping force in harsh marine and coastal conditions.
Why Upgrade to a Combined Dual Busbar?
In tight installation spaces such as boat consoles, RV battery compartments, and 4x4 dual-battery setups, mounting separate positive and negative busbars can require extra cabling and valuable mounting surface area. The DualBus Plus solves this by halving the number of components you need to mount. Furthermore, its recessed base design and snap-on cover greatly reduce the risk of accidental arcing across the positive and negative rails, giving you peace of mind in mission-critical off-grid and marine electrical installations.
Ideal Applications
- Marine Vessels: Helm wiring, bilge distribution, and house battery management requiring ABYC-compliant insulation.
- Caravans & Motorhomes: Centralising 12V or 24V appliance feeds, lighting circuits, and solar charge controller connections.
- 4WD & Overland Canopies: Neat, vibration-resistant power distribution for fridges, inverters, compressors, and work lights.
- Industrial & Off-Grid Enclosures: Compact DC termination points for telemetry, solar setups, and remote power cabinets.
Streamline Your Electrical Installation Today
Upgrade your DC power distribution with the Blue Sea 150A DualBus Plus for a safer, cleaner, and fully compliant wiring setup in your vessel or off-grid vehicle.
