Blue Sea 12V 6-Circuit Fuse Distribution Panel, Grey
Blue Sea 12V 6-Circuit Fuse Distribution Panel, Grey
IP67 Weather-Resistant Front, ATO/ATC Fuse Protection & LED Status

DESCRIPTION
Reliable 12V Marine Circuit Protection for Exposed Environments
Managing electrical systems in marine environments requires components that can withstand constant exposure to moisture, salt spray, and vibration. This 6-circuit fuse distribution panel from Blue Sea Systems is engineered specifically for flybridge and open cockpit applications where standard switch panels often fail. Operating on 12V DC systems, it integrates switching and ATO/ATC fuse-based circuit protection into a single, compact panel-mount unit. By consolidating your power distribution and circuit protection, it simplifies helm wiring and reduces the risk of electrical faults in harsh conditions.
IP67 Weather Resistance and Durable Construction
Unlike standard interior panels that are vulnerable to water ingress and corrosion, the front of this distribution panel achieves an IP67 rating when properly installed with a watertight mounting gasket. This level of ingress protection means the panel face can withstand temporary immersion in water up to 1m deep for 30 minutes, making it suitable for exposed marine consoles, RIBs, and open boats. To accommodate tight console spaces and varied dash layouts, the unit is designed to be mounted in four different orientations without compromising its environmental seal or usability.
Intuitive Bicoloured LED Status and Backlighting
Troubleshooting electrical issues at sea or in low-light conditions can be challenging. This panel features integrated bicoloured LEDs that illuminate the circuit labels to provide immediate visual feedback on the status of all six circuits:
- Green LED: Indicates the circuit is switched ON and functioning normally.
- Red LED: Indicates the circuit is switched OFF.
- No Light: Indicates a blown fuse on that specific circuit, allowing for rapid fault identification. (Note: If no indicators illuminate in any position, it typically indicates a loss of main power to the panel itself).
For night navigation, an independent label-backlighting circuit is built into the design. This allows you to connect the panel to a remote switch or dimmer, ensuring your console labels remain clearly legible in the dark without causing night-blindness or glare at the helm.
Key Features and Benefits
- Integrated Protection: Uses widely available ATO and ATC blade fuses to protect up to six individual 12V DC circuits.
- Marine-Grade Durability: IP67-rated front panel (when mounted with a watertight gasket) resists water spray and temporary immersion.
- Smart Diagnostics: Bicoloured LED indicators provide instant confirmation of ON, OFF, or blown fuse states.
- Flexible Installation: Supports four mounting orientations to suit custom dash and helm configurations.
- Night-Vision Friendly: Dedicated backlighting circuit supports remote switching and dimming for optimal visibility during night operations.
Applications
Designed to meet the demands of marine electricians and boat builders, this panel is ideal for controlling navigation lights, bilge pumps, fishfinders, and deck lighting in open-air environments. Its robust grey finish and sealed switches also make it a dependable choice for external utility boxes on off-grid campers, service vehicles, and 4x4 canopies exposed to dust and rain.
Upgrade Your Helm Electrical System
Ensure your critical marine electronics and onboard accessories are safely powered and protected from the elements. Configure your cockpit or flybridge with the Blue Sea 6-circuit distribution panel for reliable, weather-resistant power management.
