Blue Sea 12V/24V Mini OLED Temperature Meter - Yellow
Blue Sea 12V/24V Mini OLED Temperature Meter - Yellow
12V/24V DC IP66 Waterproof Display with Sensor - 29mm Cutout

DESCRIPTION
Compact Digital Temperature Monitoring for 12V and 24V DC Systems
The Blue Sea Systems Mini OLED Temperature Meter provides accurate, real-time thermal monitoring for critical areas within your marine vessel, caravan, 4WD, or off-grid power setup. Designed to operate seamlessly across both 12V and 24V DC electrical systems, this compact digital gauge helps safeguard your equipment by delivering precise temperature readings where they matter most. Whether you are tracking engine room ambient heat, monitoring a lithium battery bank, or checking refrigerator performance, this unit offers dependable visibility in a minimal footprint.
Daylight-Readable and Built for Harsh Environments
Standard liquid crystal displays often wash out under direct sunlight or become difficult to read at wide angles. This 12V digital temperature gauge utilises a high-contrast, bright yellow OLED screen that remains clearly visible in harsh daylight as well as pitch-black night conditions. Furthermore, its front face is rated to IP66 waterproof standards, providing robust protection against powerful water jets, heavy spray, and dust ingress. This makes it an exceptional choice for exposed marine dash panels, open cockpit consoles, and rugged off-road canopies where inferior gauges frequently fail due to moisture corrosion.
Key Features and Benefits
- High-Visibility Yellow OLED Screen: Delivers crisp, daylight-readable figures for rapid status checks in any lighting condition.
- IP66 Weatherproof Protection: Sealed against dust and heavy water spray, ensuring longevity in demanding marine and outdoor environments.
- Dual-Scale Flexibility: Easily switch readings between Celsius and Fahrenheit to suit your monitoring preferences.
- Ultra-Low Power Consumption: Draws a maximum of 10mA, preventing parasitic drain on your auxiliary or starter batteries during extended storage.
- Integrated Reverse Polarity Protection: Eliminates the risk of accidental internal damage during wiring and installation.
- Ready to Install: Supplied complete with a dedicated temperature sensor for immediate integration into your setup.
Streamlined Installation in Tight Spaces
Dashboard and switch panel real estate is often limited in modern vehicles and vessels. The Mini OLED series addresses this challenge with a low-profile round bezel and a threaded housing that mounts cleanly into a standard 1-1/8" (approx. 29mm) circular cutout. This allows you to install the gauge alongside standard rocker switches or circuit breakers without requiring complex rectangular cutouts. The threaded body secures tightly against panels of varying thicknesses, ensuring a vibration-resistant fit suited to corrugated outback tracks and choppy coastal waters.
Versatile Thermal Management Applications
Proactive temperature management reduces the risk of costly thermal runaway, equipment overheating, and spoiled provisions. Because this meter accepts a wide input voltage range from 8V to 36V DC, it remains stable even during voltage fluctuations caused by engine cranking or heavy inverter loads. Common applications include:
- Monitoring battery compartment temperatures to ensure safe charging parameters for lithium (LiFePO4) and AGM batteries.
- Tracking inverter, charger, and MPPT solar controller enclosures to verify adequate ventilation.
- Observing marine engine bays, bilge areas, or exhaust spaces for early signs of cooling system issues.
- Keeping a constant check on custom 12V fridge or freezer compartments in camper trailers and motorhomes.
Upgrade Your System Monitoring
Equip your dashboard or control panel with the Blue Sea Systems Mini OLED Temperature Meter to maintain complete oversight of your critical system temperatures. Add this durable, marine-grade gauge to your setup today for reliable thermal tracking on your next journey.
